Now, since revealing her stage four cancer battle, Shannen’s Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star Jason Priestly has updated fans and now, her good friend Ian Ziering is speaking out as well.

Last month, Jason Priestly gave an update on Shannen’s health.
“Shannen’s a real tough girl, and Shannen’s a fighter, and she’s always been a fighter,” he explained .
“And I know that she will continue to fight as hard as she can. Last time I heard from her, she was in pretty good spirits.”
Now, it’s Ian’s turn to update fans. While chatting with “E! News” the actor told the news outlet how proud he was of his friend, Shannen.
“You know, Shannen is so resilient. If I was ever going to war, I would want her on my side, because that woman is a fighter and she gets it done,” he revealed .
He continued, “Knowing Shannen, she’s got her finger on the heartbeat of whatever the cutting-edge science is. I’m really not too worried about it because she’s doing great.”
