Game Of Thrones prequel House Of The Dragon has not been pulling its punches when it comes to shocking scenes or handling some of the more out-there subject matters that the show touches on, and the most recent episode was no different.
After a particular, well, reveal behind some of Larys’ motivations, fans have taken to social media to express their shock and incredulity at the scene in question.

Clare Kilner, the director of the episode, spoke about the scene in a new interview.
Kilner described the scene between Larys and Alicent as him “looking at her feet and then having a wank, basically,” after Larys provides information to Alicent, as a sort of payment.
“Her mind is incredible. I mean, she really wrote us a wonderful episode, I have to say,” Kilner said of episode writer Sara Hess.
“But, yeah, that was an interesting scene actually…” she went on.
“Funnily enough, you get the intimacy coordinators [for] all the nudity, but they don’t think about it for this,” she went on. “It’s so intrusive and invasive. It’s a really dirty scene.”
Fans have definitely agreed with that summary.
Many fans took to social media to comment on the scene.
“Can you imagine House of the Dragon in a much more modern setting? I’m picturing Alicent getting a text message from Larys reading: I have some information I’m sure you’d like. Send feet pics,” one fan joked .
The reveal was a surprise to a lot of viewers who had been questioning Larys’ motivations.
“TOO FAR, HOUSE OF THE DRAGON. I DID NOT NEED THAT SCENE WITH LARYS,” shared one fan .
“The one time i tell my brother to watch House of the Dragon with me…THE ONE TIME, and larys scene pops up. I did not know what to tell my brother as he looked at me…” another added .
