Okay, Haunting Of Hill House fans, so you think your show is so perfect, huh?
Well, here are a bunch of mistakes to prove you otherwise! Not so smug now, are ya?
Well, this isn’t going to be easy.

As it turns out, there aren’t a whole lot of mistakes in this show. And any mistake I point out could be attributed to the fact that ghosts are doing it.
Well, let’s move forward.
1. Is Theo Pregnant?

Alright, let me start this by saying there will be a lot of ghost jokes in this article. Okay? Okay.
So, let’s take a moment here to talk about Theo, a fan favorite.
There’s a moment where Theo is thinking back to when Steve offered to share royalties from his book with her.

At that moment, she is heavily pregnant.
However, there’s a picture of her son and daughter right beside her.
Could it be… a ghost baby?

Well, they have a tendency to hide a lot of ghosts in this show… so maybe they hid one in Theo’s womb just to throw us off?
Or maybe it’s part of the Red Room?
2. Hugh Crain’s Hand

Well, it seems that there are some problems with the Hugh Crain character.
Well, truth be told, it’s just one problem, but it’s not great for whoever was on continuity on the series.
At one point in the series, a young Hugh Crain is working in the basement when he cuts his right hand.

Later, when it jumps forward in time, he hardly has a scar on it.
Maybe… It’s A Ghost Scar?

Hm… seems unlikely for it to be a ghost scar… but then again, it also seems like this would be the thing the showrunners would do.
I’m going to say 100% confirmed ghost scar.
3. The Accent Slip

Listen, actors are really good at their jobs, but nobody’s perfect, right?
Well, unfortunately, it seems that during one key part of the show, Michiel Huisman let his American accent go.
When giving a monologue at the end, Michiel Huisman’s Dutch accent slips in when he says:

“Without it, we cannot continue for long to exist sanely under conditions of absolute reality.”
Could it be… A Ghost Accent?

I’m not all that sure what a ghost accent would sound like, but judging from the Scooby-Doo episodes I’ve seen, it would have a lot of “oohs” in it.
Just like a Dutch accent. Confirmed ghost accent.
4. The Oven

Alright, so this one may be a bit of a stretch, but as it turns out the Haunting of Hill House doesn’t have all that many mistakes in it.
We’re going to talk about the stove.
So throughout the series, they seem to have an electric oven from the ’40s or ’50s.

And there’s an exhaust pipe feeding on the back of it into the wall behind it.
Well, as it turns out, electric ovens don’t actually need exhaust pipes.

Gas ovens do, so they can vent the smoke or combustion or whatever.
And before you say anything, this model isn’t dual fuel.
Well, ghosts wouldn’t really need ovens, they often make their food in the microwave.

Then again… we never see a microwave, so maybe they’re old fashioned ghosts?
Let’s call this one 100% confirmed.
