First dates are weird. They’re awkward, a little uncomfortable, and it’s difficult to know what the vibe is going to be.
At least, that’s the case for most of us. Not May (@maytheeleven), however. Nope. For her first date with one of her friends, she knew exactly what she was getting into. Why? Because her date sent her a survey before they met up.
Trust me, this is cute as h**l.
This is quite the date.

“A friend of mine recently asked me out on a date, and after I said yes he sent me a Google form. Let’s go through it together, why don’t we?”
Buckle up, this is one wild ride.
Who doesn’t love a survey?

“First up: ‘You’ve agreed to go on a date with Graham, Congratulations! He promises you a good time with your preferences in [mind].’
“He asked me what my name is? I sure hoped he knew that answer. When I’d like to start the date, yeah yeah yeah.”
She got to pick the activity and the menu.

“What style of date I’d prefer. Dinner and a movie is what I chose, ‘cause that’s what we had already discussed, but you know, these are some good other options.
I also appreciated that he included an ‘other’ option, so I could suggest my own.”
She also got to pick the dress code!

“A scale of fancy-schmanciness of one to five. I just picked everyday casual, ‘cause I didn’t want it to be too fancy, but I appreciated the option. He woud have shown up in a dress and suit and tie if I had selected it, I’m certain of it.”
She let him know she was definitely going to put everything on TikTok.

“Then at the bottom, he asked if there was anything he should know. And I included a disclaimer that anything he does and says can and will be used in a future TikTok, and he agreed. So, here we are.”
He also sent her an invitation!
After the date, he sent an exit interview.

“On a scale of awkward to charming, how would you rate Graham’s performance, one to five?’ I would say, like, probably a four, not because of his specific awkwardness but because it’s awkward because it’s a first date and that’s just how it goes.”
This man is so funny.

“At any point during the date, did you experience any of the following symptoms? Yeah, sure. Um, probably a few of those. I really appreciate him including loss of taste or smell, because he knows I had Covid and I did lost my scent and taste.”
Needless to say, they’re dating now.

“So anyways, long story short, I’m dating someone now long-distance. So that’s fun.”
The comments section lit up with calls for her to straight-up marry him immediately. I can’t tell you how thrilled I am that they’re dating!
You can watch the whole TikTok here.

What do you think of this dating style? Are you into it? I think it’s absolutely brilliant, and he is going to be an amazing husband.
I mean, what? Who said that?
