There’s a lot about motherhood that’s just beautiful! There’s a lot that isn’t beautiful, too, and if you’ve ever had to deal with diaper blowout or a screaming two year old at four in the morning on a work day, you don’t need ME to tell you that.
Out of those two categories, the act of breastfeeding definitely falls into the ‘beautiful’ column, but some people still have an issue with it!
Supermodel Emily Ratajkowski is a new mom and hasn’t shied away from sharing her motherhood journey.

Emily announced the birth of her first child in early March. “Sylvester Apollo Bear has joined us earth side. Sly arrived 3/8/21 on the most surreal, beautiful, and love-filled morning of my life,” she wrote alongside this beautiful photo.
Emily recently shared another sweet photograph of herself with her baby.

“Beautiful boy,” she captioned the shot showing Sylvester breastfeeding, although his face had been pixelated.
While the comments section was flooded with supportive and loving comments from many of Emily’s friends and fans, not everyone thought the picture was such a good look.
“Didn’t need to see this…” one commenter wrote under the picture.

“Of course she finds a reason to post a mostly t*****s picture,” another commenter added, while more complained that they didn’t “want to see” these kinds of pictures on Instagram.
However, Emily’s other fans weren’t going to let that pass without standing up for the new mom.
“Breastfeeding is beautiful and natural!” one fan wrote.

“Unfollow her if you don’t like it!” another commenter added, while many began using the hashtag #NormalizeBreastfeeding in Emily’s defense.
We love to see fans standing up for the people they support! We’re sure Emily has her hands full enough with a new baby without adding “dealing with trolls” to her to-do list!
