The only thing worse than an entitled person is an entitled parent . You just know they’re teaching their kids to be as unpleasant and choosy as they are, which is just going to bring more entitled people in the world!
The people in this list have the receipts on the most entitled parents they’ve encountered in the wild. Do yourself a favor and don’t be like them .
“Parent asked their child’s teacher to send restaurant food to their home and not the school meals.”
I have no idea what kind of school food delivery service this is, but it seems like the parent wants Uber Eats for free, basically.
“Entitled soon-to-be-parent when post says no offers.”
I think the wildest part about this is that there’s a chance this person isn’t even pregnant, and is just trying to get sympathy. And if they are having a kid… good luck to all of us.
“If you needed a reason not to give into choosing beggars, here’s a lovely example on why not to (ft. an entitled parent).”
It’s pretty scary how people will just up and scam you like this… with their kids around. Way to be an upstanding role model to them.
“Was just blessed to witness the birth of the first covid19 choosing beggar now that the schools are closed and every single parent in the state needs childcare.”
This was posted back in March of 2020. I feel like a lot of parents realized how expensive childcare actually is back then.
“Parent rages at school canteen for charging money.”
I wonder if this parent’s ever heard of a cafeteria before, because this literally isn’t anything new. And also just such weird thing to complain about, if we’re being real.
“The lady who shared this is neither a single mom nor can’t she afford LSU tickets and now wants people to give her some… Besides, her daughters HATE football.”
It definitely sounds like this mom is trying to get free tickets… for some reason.
“My mom has a little free library in her yard. Someone left her this note the other day with a crossed out smiley face.”
Maybe not a parent, but still. If this person has such an issue with older books, why not start their own little free library?
“This lady in my local mom group wanting a room painted in exchange for advertising on said mom’s group page.”
Imagine asking someone in a Facebook group to paint your room in exchange for advertising in… the same Facebook group.
“My bf’s mom is coming to visit us, and she suggested we buy a mattress, when we were offering to pay for a hotel for her and she could just bring an air mattress that she already owns.”
I mean… if she wants a mattress so badly, she can just buy one.
“This Choosing Entitled Parent wants Zoo staff to [expletive] off an elephant.. An actual elephant!… So her child doesn’t ask questions.”
Ah yes, because that’s the ideal way to deal with a perfectly natural part of an elephant’s life. Instead of just answering your kid’s questions.
“CB Mom wants to be paid for her daughter’s play dates.”
This is a pretty surefire way to make sure your kids never have any friends ever. At least, not while they’re still kids. Talk about an entitled parent.
“Someone decides $140 a week isn’t worth it. Mom of the child rants on Facebook.”
There’s a lot more to this story in the original post, but basically the babysitter calls the poster a bad parent, and the parent tries to say that $140 for 40 hours of work is good compensation. Yikes.
“Teaching these days. Feel for the kid, but I’m not a charity. Had plenty of my time taken advantage of by this parent to make sure the kid would make it to school etc..”
It’s definitely very weird to ask your kids’ teachers to buy them video games.
“I spent around 20+ hours organizing and putting together a “We Miss You” video for my little sister and 30 of her classmates, to send to their teachers during lockdown.”
“Brought the teachers nothing but joy, however this dad is mad that I didn’t include every kid in the year.”
The dad could just make one himself. Oh wait, it’s too much work.
“Brother’s girlfriend’s Dad expects his friends to help with moving.”
The funny thing is, buying pizza and beer for a bunch of dudes is going to cost a lot more than… just giving them money. Why is the dad fighting back so much on this?
“My baby’s dad will give you $ 50.”
I get that babies and kids are expensive, and a lot of parents are struggling, but that’s not an excuse to try and nickel and dime somebody who might also be struggling.
“Mom needs a nice spec Audi for $4,000- MUST NOT be black though!”
I mean, at lest she admitted that her post was a long shot. Still, imagine actually thinking somebody would give you your perfect car (and not in black) with your limited budget.
“Local fb group mom wants to pay $100 a week for babysitting overnight and getting child to school…”
So, you’re asking for a live-in nanny, but want to pay them next to nothing. Getting good childcare is tough, but this is just ridiculous.
“Father (With 18 Year Old Daughter) Looking For Housemate.”
It sounds to me like the dad is looking for a young girlfriend without actually saying he wants a young girlfriend. I’d be very surprised if he got any takers.
“My dad tries to get people to help him fix his quad without paying, gets upset when no one helps and he breaks the quad more.”
I mean, if this dude just paid to get it fixed… he wouldn’t be in this mess.
