If someone were to ask me what being married to Chris Hemsworth would be like, I would have passed out before I got a chance to answer the question. Chris is a man who has a face and body that have been sculpted by the hands of God himself.
Mr. Hemsworth is a sweetie pie, a seemingly amazing father, and a super loving husband to wife Elsa Pataky.
Chris and Elsa started dating way back in early 2010.
Sometimes when you know…you know. The two were married by the end of that same year.
The love birds went on to have three children together.
Their daughter, India Rose, was born in 2012. In 2014, the couple welcomed their twin sons, Sasha and Tristan.
After one quick look at Chris and Elsa’s Instagram pages, it’s pretty clear that these two are still so in love, even a decade later.
If I’m being honest, I can’t tell who’s luckier here.
However, Elsa recently got refreshingly honest about her marriage to Chris, assuring us it’s just like most other marriages out there— awesome, but not perfect.

Speaking to Australian outlet Body+Soul , Elsa admitted, “It’s funny that people think of us as a perfect couple. No way.”
Gasp!
She admitted that they, like most couples, have “their ups and downs.”

“We still keep working at the relationship,” she added.
When asked about her secret to a loving relationship, Elsa didn’t hold back on what she believes is the key to her decade-long marriage.

“I think a relationship is constant work. It’s not easy,” Elsa admitted.
We love their love and Elsa’s honesty!
But just because a marriage is constant work, doesn’t mean she isn’t keeping things positive.

She shared that they are stronger after a decade together: “I always try to see the positives of things,” she shared.
She shared that they both love sports, eating healthy, and moving their bodies.

“We’ve got the kids into surfing. Any hobbies to get them outside, and not on social media and computers. My daughter has been horseriding with me since she was two-and-a-half,” she shared.
She even touched on parenting with Chris, and how much her life changed after having India.

“I thought my life was going to be the same [when I had kids] and I would keep working. But I couldn’t. Chris would come home and say, ‘How was your day?’ And I didn’t feel proud to say: ‘I’m just a mum.’ But you should. Because it’s the hardest but greatest job in the world.”
She spoke about the importance of having a healthy balance in her life.

“I really liked being with the kids, I wanted to take them to school and pick them up every day. I just love that moment. I didn’t grow up with my parents [around] and I missed that so much, so I wanted to give that to my kids.”
“I love acting, but having balance is important to me. So, if something comes along that fits into my life and lets me work close to home, then I’m happy to do it.”

It sounds like Elsa knows a thing or two about the tough side of marriage and parenting, and we love that she’s not sugar-coating it!
Here’s to 10 more years of Chris and Elsa!
