In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past 24 hours, I’m here to catch you up on the most important celebrity news story of the week — Christopher Meloni’s naked Peloton ad. Yep, you read that right. The Law & Order: Organized Crime star has made the internet quite literally blow up after his latest ad shows him working out in the n**e.
Now, the 61-year-old is responding to all the positive press, and explaining why doing the ad was “a no-brainer.”

A few months back, “Raw & Order” …. sorry, I meant “Law & Order” actor Chris Meloni made headlines after revealing he likes to work out in the n**e.
During the NBCUniversal upfront earlier this year, the actor revealed that he loved to work out in the buff.
“I work out naked. It’s my gym,” he said, as per Vanity Fair.
If that wasn’t risque enough, the actor and father revealed that his wife isn’t too fond of his n**e routine, especially because he hasn’t blacked out their windows — giving their neighbors quite the show every day.
“And I’m OK with that,” he admitted, “My wife is not.”
Well, if she’s not okay with that, I wonder how she felt about his new, N**E Peloton ad that features the actor working out all over his home.
At the beginning of the ad, Chris is scene doing bicep curls from the chest up, and saying: “Apparently, some people think the way I work out is strange.”
The camera then pans out to show that Chris is working out naked, with pixels covering his private parts.
The commercial goes on to show Chris doing various workouts (found on the Peleton app) in the n**e. (Psssst, you can watch the full ad here. )
After fans (understandably) lost their minds on social media, the 61-year-old is responding to the praise in an interview with “Page Six.”
“I’d like to say we had negotiations over length, girth and swinging radius,” he joked with the publication, before saying that doing the ad “was kind of a no-brainer.”
“My first thought was how smart they were, then I looked at the copy and I thought it was very funny … I like smart and I like funny.”
While he declaimed to say whether he shot the ad in the n**e for real he did say that he’s “a very free actor,” before adding “I do my best work when I feel free.”
