Don’t expect Chris Hemsworth’s kids to become geniuses anytime soon!
During a new interview, the Extraction star joked that his homeschooling skills are a little worse for the wear!
Chris Hemsworth has been busy in quarantine!

The first thing the Australian actor did back in March was make his fitness app, Centr, free for people to use for six weeks.
Who doesn’t want to get ripped like Thor?
“Centr was founded to make health and happiness accessible to all, and I hope that this will make that access even easier during the current health crisis,” he wrote on Instagram.
During a virtual interview with *The Ellen Show*, Chris even shared some workout tips with DeGeneres’ producer Andy Lassner (Average Andy).

Using random household items, such as laundry detergent and cans of soup, Chris gave Andy a very un-Thor-like workout.
Like many other celeb parents, Chris has also been busy with having all of his kids at home!

He has three kids with his wife, Elsa Pataky: India Rose, 7, and six-year-old twins, Sasha and Tristan.
While he was promoting his new Netflix film, *Extraction*, his kids even crashed his interview!

“That’s my kids in the background,” he explained while being interviewed by Triple M, an Australian radio station.
At one point during the interview, one of his sons almost shut down the interview entirely!
“Sorry, my son is throwing pillows at the computer,” he said.
“Buddy, just hang on. It’s going to knock off the [monitor],” Chris said while trying to re-adjust the screen.

Hilarious!
If he thought doing Zoom interviews at home with kids around was difficult, trying to teach them has proved to be even harder.

During a new interview with ET Canada , Hemsworth revealed that homeschooling his three kids hasn’t exactly been going well.
“I am just going to say to the kids, ‘Hey, you are coming out of this a little dumber than you were, and it’s my fault and you can forever blame me,'” he joked.

“We have moments in days where we get there but it’s the negotiation that takes up the most time, three hours of that and then 20 minutes of work.”
Hemsworth was also asked what he’ll never take for granted after this experience in isolation.
For him, it’s all about the physical touch: high gives, hugs, and handshakes.
“I think everyone is under the realization of how much we crave physical interaction and being outside more and being in nature more and not being confined and isolated,” he said.

“I mean, live concerts, music festivals, are they now a thing of the past?”
He continued:

“Who knows, it’s unfortunate if that’s the case but I feel we will get back on top of it, figure it out, and get back out there.”
In the meantime, folks stuck at home (especially parents) can take their minds off things with Chris’s new movie!
Extraction is about a mercenary who is tasked with rescuing the kidnapped son of an imprisoned international crime lord.
Hemsworth joined forces with *Avengers: Endgame* stunt co-ordinator Sam Hargrave, who makes his directorial debut on the film.
It also stars Rudhraksh Jaiswal, Randeep Hooda, Golshifteh Farahani, Pankaj Tripathi, Priyanshu Painyuli, and David Harbour.
*Extraction* is out now!
