This Mother’s Day, Céline isn’t just highlighting her three sons in her annual Instagram post.
She’s sharing an important and heartfelt message for those suffering amidst the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Posting a rare photo with her children, Céline began by saying how fortunate she felt to be with them.
“This Mother’s Day, I feel very fortunate to be able to be with my children, and I think about mothers in Ukraine and around the world who have lost their children…” she began.
“and for those mothers who constantly worry about how to keep their children safe…”
“and for those mothers who devote every ounce of their energy just to provide their children with the bare necessities of life.”
She went on to say she dedicates her post to the women who are fighting for their families right now, especially those in Ukraine.
“These mothers truly are the courageous ones, and I dedicate this Mother’s Day to all of them. We pray that they will find peace and comfort for their families.”
The comment section was filled with love and gratitude for the singer, who has continued to bring attention to the ongoing war.
