From a distance, Aquaman and Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa strikes an intimidating pose. But underneath all the muscles and the mangled mess of long hair, Jason is really just a big teddy bear.
Recently, Jason decided to go the extra distance so that a fan could have her dream photo. His reputation for kindness proceeds him and his adoration for his fans is nothing short of inspiring.
Whether you know him as Khal Drogo from HBO's Game of Thrones or as Arthur Curry in Aquaman, the one thing that's for sure is that Jason has a kingly nature about him.
Over the years, Jason has lent his name to a number of worthy causes. In 2019, he and a group of fellow indigenous Hawaiians protested the construction of a giant telescope atop Mauna Kea — Hawaii's tallest mountain.
In February of 2022, a Reddit user who goes by the handle baranko posted a photo of themself and Jason hugging it out.
"He is hugging me because I couldn't stand on my own," u/baranko's post began. He offered to hold me for the photo so my wheel chair[sic] wouldn't be in the photo."
The starry-eyed Reddit user went on to explain just how important this photo is to them. It illustrates how great Jason is to his fans and how kind and thoughtful he is of others.
Fellow Reddit users couldn't help but gush over u/baranko's story and were quick to share their own thoughts on the matter.
"Hell yeah!" u/FunDifficulty83 echoed in agreement. "That was really wholesome!"
Not only was Jason's reply wholesome, but it turns out that his behavior is par for the course, according to Reddit user awwdorkable.
Based on what u/awwdorkable claimed in their post, they had the chance to hang out with Jason a few years back while attending a mutual friend's Christmas party. They described Jason as a super-cool grounded dad, who loves spending time with his kids.
"She would scream 'Eeeeeewwwwww! No daaaddd!!' It was adorable."
Not only is Jason a great dad, but he's also a great gift giver.
I have to hope that there was at least one bottle of Arbor Gold and perhaps a few Dornish Reds contained in that case.
