14 Packages That Were Designed To Frustrate Us

Isn't it amazing when you get a product, and not only does it work well, but the packaging is on point, too? I love that. That's when I know the company has their s*** together.

On the other hand, some designers seem to frustrate us on purpose. I'm going to show you a few examples of that, and it's going to infuriate you, too.

1. This Sneaky Super Glue

If you thought this super glue was going to last you a while, think again. This is definitely the epitome of an asshole design here. Why do they do that? That's totally uncool in my book.

2. This Spice Jar

At first, when you pick up this spice jar, you would think it contained a lot. But then, when you turn it upside down, you realize that you've been had. Oh, this is so sad. Am I right?

3. This Ridiculous Sandwich

Sometimes it doesn't pay off to go to that quick sandwich shop, especially when you expect to see meat inside. This person got the shock of their life when they looked inside. Wow, how do they get away with that?

4. This False Advertising

Can you believe this false advertising here? They're claiming that a double cheese package has more in it despite fewer ingredients. You pay the same price for less. It really does pay off to read the fine print.

5. This Odd Packaging Scheme

By the looks of these, these batteries seem to be social distancing, lol. But would it kill them to put more AA batteries in there? I mean, there's plenty of room. Do you hear what I'm saying?

6. This Not-So-Satisfying Pizza

If you opened this box of pizza and were expecting plenty of pepperonis, you would be pretty miffed too, right? Well, I'm pretty sure that's what happened here because that's how it ended up on Reddit, hee-hee.

7. This Apple Sauce

When you get a jar of delicious apple sauce, you would like to finish it, no? Well, this jar design here makes it virtually impossible. There will always be some drops on the bottom, so good luck getting everything.

8. This Watermelon Fail

Isn't it amazing when the packaging makes you believe something will be great? And then you open it up and see exactly what you got. This would definitely piss me off because I love watermelon. It doesn't even look close.

9. This Amazon Delivery

Give it to Amazon to be the most wasteful company ever. I mean, look at the box they used to send this tiny item. WTF? They could've just put it in a way smaller box, no?

10. This Misleading Pâté

If you're like me and love Pâté, you definitely shouldn't get this brand here. You would be so disappointed when you open it and see that half of it is missing. I'm not even kidding you.

11. These Powerade Drinks

You would think that these two Powerade drinks are almost identical. Well, you would be wrong. One of them is actually four ounces less, but the price remains the same. That's totally uncool Powerade. Stop fooling us here.

12. This Misleading Chocolate Box

I don't know about you, but when I get a chocolate box, I expect it to be full. This one here looks like it's missing more than a few. Add that to your list of items to never buy again.

13. This Giant Lolipop

When you buy a giant lollipop, you would expect it to hold more content than that? Is that not reasonable? Am I the only one who thinks this isn't okay by a long shot? And they didn't even get the flavor they wanted. Aww!

14. This Unnecessary Orange Packaging

I guess this orange packaging was created for those lazy people who can't seem to want to peel one, huh? Well, those people are responsible for the company to think outside of the box. Well, that's an oxymoron.

Well, I hope this didn't put you off from buying anything now.

I mean, every time we purchase something, we do put our trust in the company. You would hope that they treat us with the respect we deserve instead of trying to cheat us, huh?
