Britney Spears is calling out and accusing paparazzi of editing her photos to make her look bigger than she is.
So, let’s do some investigating, shall we?
Britney Spears has a “conspiracy theory” that the paparazzi are editing her photos to make her look heavier than she really is.
She posted a video on Twitter, making her case.
First, she explained that she knows people are often criticized of editing their own photos.

Because let’s face it, people can get a little carried away on FaceTune.
“A lot of fans, in our world today, they always are subject to really criticize people,” she said.

“And say that the pictures and videos that they’re posting are either not on time or they’re fake.”
But Britney is suggesting that maybe it’s the paparazzi that are editing the photos in the first place.

“But no one ever really asks, ‘Are the paparazzi pictures fake,'” she continued.
“‘Do the paparazzi people do stuff to the pictures, and is the news really real?,'” she asked.

“It’s a conspiracy theory that I’m actually interested in.”
“Yesterday, I went swimming,” She said. “I look like I’m 40 pounds bigger than I am today.”

“This is how I am right now,” she revealed, angling the camera toward her body.
“I’m skinny as a needle. You tell me, what is real?,” she concluded.

I am living for her blatant confidence rn.
She really is a legend.

The photo agency that Britney is calling into question is MEGA — for the photos they recently published of her walking on the beach with her boyfriend in Miami.

But they have denied having anything to do with the way Britney looks in the photos that were taken of her.
MEGA released a statement to Page Six, explaining that they find the allegations to be “ludicrous”.
“We think Britney looks great,” they said .
“And it’s ludicrous to suggest the photos or video were altered in any way,” the rep continued.

The rep then confirmed that “They [the photos] were not [altered].”
“We shot thousands of photos of her over the weekend,” MEGA explained.

The rep even offered to give Britney access to the original files in order to prove their innocence.
They said they would be” very happy to let her see the original files if she so wishes.”

“It was good to see her happy and having fun and we wish her well,” their statement concluded .
But just for the sake of it, let’s compare the video Britney posted to some of the photos the paparazzi released.
Here she is, two days ago, au-naturale .
And here are some of the photos that the paparazzi have recently snapped of her.
If you ask me, she looks “skinny as a needle” in both her video and the paparazzi photos.
She’s always been incredibly fit, and that hasn’t changed by the looks of it.
Are you on board with Britney’s conspiracy theory?

It’s also possible that she just thought the photos were unflattering and wanted someone to blame for it. We are, after all, our own worst critics.
But let us know if you think the paparazzi are editing her photos!
Kim Kardashian has also claimed that the paparazzi have tried to make her look worse.
Last year, some paparazzi photos of Kim at the beach surfaced, and in those shots were visible cellulite. Obviously, Kim was not pleased about this.
She cleared the air on TV.

Kim went on The View and said, “”I saw these awful photos of myself when I was on a trip in Mexico and people were Photoshopping them and sharpening them, and they’re the worst photos.”
Obviously, everyone has off days where they don’t look their best.

“I definitely was not in my best shape. I hadn’t worked out in about twelve weeks, I’d had two surgeries on my uterus. We documented that on the show,” Kim continued.
Kim said seeing the photos made her feel worse.

“But I was already not feeling like myself and then when people were like sharpening them and making them look way worse, and then those were going around, I was like, ‘Okay, I’m going to get it together,’ and I started working out with this bodybuilder girl.”
Britney and Kim are not the only celebrities who’ve called out the paps.

Singer Bebe Rexha made an Instagram post calling out paparazzi for publishing an extremely unflattering photo of her. The shot is of her in sweatpants and a tank top walking to a store with her hair up in a messy bun.
The caption was where Bebe really got real.

“I [expletive] HATE this paparazzi pic of me, but you know what Im posting it cause it’s REAL. I was buying groceries to make chili and lottery tickets. Btw I won 25 bucks.”
Bebe hasn’t been shy about the expectation of perfection on celebrities.

In another post she wrote, “I probably should of photoshopped my stomach and made it look flat. I probably should of photoshopped my legs to make them look thinner.”
Bebe talked about the negative influence of society.

“I probably should of made myself look taller and Smoothed my legs. But I didn’t. Society can really [expletive] with you. Here is what a real woman looks like on Instagram without photoshop.”
