Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, Bebe Rexha vowed on Twitter that her next album is going to be more honest than anything she’s ever put out before.
In keeping with being honest, she also opened up about being diagnosed with bipolar disorder and how it has affected her everyday life.

Yesterday Bebe took to Twitter writing to her fans that she has been feeling sick for a while, but didn’t understand why.
She said that she would feel low sometimes, unable to leave her house or be around anyone, followed by highs where she couldn’t get any sleep or stop focusing on music.
Bipolar disorder is a mental condition that was once better known as manic depression.
It causes extreme mood swings — emotional highs and lows. The depression causes those affected to lose interest in most activities.
Even something as simple as getting up in the morning can feel like a trial.
The episodes of mania or hypomania have the extreme opposite effect.
The person affected may feel euphoric, energetic, motivated, stimulated, focused, and unusually irritable.
These mood swings affect sleep, energy levels, judgment, behavior and the ability to think clearly.
The severity of bipolar disorder can vary from person to person.
While some may find coping with it to be extremely difficult, debilitating even, others may not even realize they have bipolar disorder.
She then blatantly said that she is bipolar and that she is no longer ashamed of it.
In parenthesis, letting us know that she was feeling rather emotional while she wrote these tweets.
She then promised that her next album will be her favorite album ever.
She isn’t going to hold anything back. Full-on, unadulterated Bebe.
She went on to say that she hopes everyone can accept her the way that she is.
She added that she isn’t looking for fans to take pity on her, but that she just wants to be accepted.
“That’s all,” she wrote. Then told her fans she loved them — wrapping up her announcement.
Fans were incredibly supportive. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house!
Normally, there’s at least one judgemental troll on the internet waiting to comment something negative anytime a celebrity writes anything online.
But thankfully, not this time. The kind, supportive, encouraging messages came flooding in — it was a sight to see.
Fans wrote a ton of messages similar to this one — letting Bebe know that they are proud of her for opening up, and that she’s not alone.
They went on to say that it’s much easier to get through something like this knowing that so many other people are there to support her.
Another fan said that they were proud of Bebe and thankful for her sharing her struggles with them so openly.
Adding that she is a legend and that she deserves the world.
One fan commented that there are so many people out there that are in the same boat as her.
They went on to say that the disorder can be managed with therapy and medication, and that is nothing to be ashamed of.
This person let her know that being bipolar doesn’t define her entire identity.
And that no one should judge her for it — they should pay more attention to what an incredible talent she is.
Another fan wrote that they will always accept Bebe, no matter what.
They went on to explain that everyone is different and has their own “things going on”, and that all we can do is accept those things — so long as it isn’t causing any harm to others.
Some fans wrote that because she has been so accepting of everyone else, her fans will “obviously” be accepting of her as well.
This person wrote that they love her for standing up for what’s right and being a genuine person.
We are so glad that Bebe had the courage to share this part of her life with her fans.
Just goes to show that everyone, even celebrities are only human — facing their own struggles.
