Who here is a huge foodie? Raise your hand. I definitely am, too. In fact, I’m always working on some culinary creation, and I love to follow fellow foodies.
That’s why I was so thrilled when I stumbled upon this one TikTok account that’s all about food. And when you see what this TikTok user made recently, you’re going to be impressed, too.
Ash Baber is pretty popular on TikTok.
He’s got nearly 780,000 followers. Wow, that’s pretty incredible, huh? He’s been showing people his recipes since 2019. However, in 2020 when the UK went into lockdown, that’s when his TikTok really took off.
You see, that’s when Ash started posting more regularly.
His one video, in particular, skyrocketed him into TikTok stardom. In that video, he wanted to recreate one of the popular emojis — the birthday cake emoji. Why? Let’s find out.
Ash thought that the birthday cake emoji looked pretty strange.
The cake has real candles on it like the ones you put on a table and not a cake. So, as a joke, he recreated it from scratch as a real cake.
And, his followers went wild for it.
He thought it was funny that nobody at Apple questioned it. Everybody thought his real cake looked bang-on. In fact, people started requesting that he try his hand at other emojis as well.
I think it would be so cool to see the other food emojis in real life.
What do you think? So as you might have guessed, Ash happily obliged. He started making other cool emojis as real food examples. His second attempt was the cupcake emoji, which I think he nailed, too.
After that, he created what I think is my favorite so far — the donut emoji.
Ah, he had me at donuts. I’ve been missing those in my diet, ha, ha! These little guys look good enough to eat. Oh, wait! They are edible, ha, ha!
If you think these are easy to make, I’m here to tell you that’s not necessarily the case.
Ash has commented numerous times that they weren’t as simple as he first thought. A lot of detail went into making these so they look just like the emojis themselves.
