Pedro Pascal called out JK Rowling’s remarks after she reacted to the court ruling on transgender women.
The UK Supreme Court recently made a controversial ruling

The UK’s top judges decided that the ‘concept of sex is binary’ and stated that a trans woman with a Gender Recognition Certificate (GRC) ‘does not come within the definition of a woman.’
And JK Rowling publicly celebrated the court’s decision
The Harry Potter author was quick to jump on X and cheer on the ruling, praising the “three extraordinary, tenacious Scottish women with an army behind them” who fought to get this case to the Supreme Court. She said that by winning, they “protected the rights of women and girls across the UK,” and added, “@ForWomenScot, I’m so proud to know you.”
She faces accusations of transphobia again

This isn’t the first time J.K. Rowling has been called out for transphobic comments. Her recent praise for the ruling just added fuel to the fire.
In response to the writer’s comments, Pascal didn’t hold back
He posted his thoughts in the comments of a video by writer and activist Tariq Ra’ouf, who called the author’s remarks “Voldemort villain s**t.”
“Awful disgusting S**T is exactly right. Heinous LOSER behavior,” Pascal said.
Pascal has a personal connection to the trans community
Pedro’s sister, Lux, came out as non-binary in 2020 and transitioned to being trans the following year.
She shared in an interview with Chilean magazine Revista Ya that Pedro was one of the first people to help her figure out the tools she needed to express her true identity.
Pedro’s sister recalls telling her brother about the transition
Lux described the moment she told Pedro about her transition, saying, “He asked me how I felt… because I remember that he was worried,” she said. “I told him, ‘I’m happy.’ And his answer was: ‘Perfect, this is incredible.'”
When Esquire asked Pedro how Lux was dealing with the public’s reaction to her transition, he didn’t hesitate to praise her
“She is and has always been one of the most powerful people and personalities I’ve ever known,” he said, but also made it clear that he wasn’t going to speak for her.
He openly showed his protective-brother side
Pedro admitted that his protective side could get pretty intense.
“My protective side is lethal, but I need her more than she needs me,” he said, showing just how much he values and supports his sister.
