What could be better than admiring a calendar full of finely toned, blazin’ hot, heroic Australian firefighters? Well, how about a calendar full of finely toned, blazin’ hot, heroic Australian firefighters holding adorable animals ?
Yeah, it just got a lot warmer in here didn’t it?
Crack open a window and grab a bottle of water because you’re about to see some steamy rescuers posing with some unbelievably cute creatures. But don’t feel bashful because it’s all in the name of charity!
It just feels so fitting to start with a picture of a kangaroo.
Every year since 1993, the finest firefighters from down under have dedicated their time (and biceps) to this fundraising calendar charity project.
This year, the rescuers flexed their abs of steel to create six brand new calendars with proceeds going towards supporting local, smaller charities with a focus on native Australian, rescue, and therapy animals.
I bet that piglet has never felt safer.
While many of the heroes you’ll see pictured here are Australian, this year’s calendars also feature firefighters from France and Germany.
Oh, and next year firemen from all over the world are going to take part in the very first International Firefighters Calendar. So make sure you pick up a calendar for yourself and mark it so you don’t miss out on getting one of those next year, either.
And now here’s a horse.
Is it just me, or is that horse trying to outshine its firefighter? Maybe I’m seeing things but it definitely seems like this steed is giving this stud a run for his money and wants to be the real star of the show. Just look at that smolder .
Meow, am I right?
This furry feline looks a little stunned to find itself perched on the shoulder of a firemen but it also doesn’t seem too bothered. Who knows? Maybe he just saved it from a tree.
Can we all just pause to appreciate this absolute gift of a picture?
This is a firefighter posing with a floofy lil’ pupper in his lap. I never knew perfection existed but now there’s no doubt in my mind. We have reached enlightenment.
This birdie saw its opportunity and it took it.
Is it pecking this hunky firefighter or is it giving him a little smooch? You decide. But I’m just going to go ahead and say it’s planting a big one on him.
Kiss from down udder.
This sweet calf couldn’t resist giving its fireman photo buddy a little love and honestly? So relatable.
Pictured: The NeverEnding Nuzzle
It actually took me a minute to even look at the firefighter in this photo because wow that is one majestic looking pony.
This fella looks super wise and like it could tell you many stories about far away lands and take you on incredible adventures.
What’s cuter than one kitten? How about THREE?
Oops, make that four. Look at that little stinker on the left poking its head up to see what’s going on. I’m sure it was pretty surprised to find itself in the middle of a firefighter photo shoot but also probably not all that upset about it, either.
Pooch smooch.
I personally like the added touch of some fall gourds and squashes. Maybe this photo appears in the fall section of the calendar. Or maybe this doggo just needed something to stand on so it could kiss its handsome firefighter friend.
One more doggo just for good measure.
Honestly, you can never have enough dogs. And if this calendar is any indication, you also can’t have enough firefighters. They’re very similar that way.
Koala cuddles.
This koala looks pretty pleased with the situation he’s found himself in. But wouldn’t you? He’s getting up close and personal with a firefighter and nothing else really matters.
These ducklings are easily having the time of their life.
First of all, you can’t go wrong with some playtime in the water. But throw in a firefighter and you’ve got yourself a pretty excellent way to spend your afternoon.
I know this should be slightly menacing looking but…
Is it just me, or would these two make an excellent duo for a TV show? Something about an Aussie firefighter teaming up with an albino dingo to fight fires and maybe solve a few international crimes along the way.
Coming next fall to HBO.
I can’t get over this kitten posing on the firefighter’s shoulder.
They just look like the most comfortable pair possible. And how about all the cuteness that’s somehow taking place in just one picture? Whoa. Talk about sensory overload.
Click here to pick up your calendar for just $16.34 AUD, plus postage. You can choose from six themes: classic, wildlife, cat, dog, horse, or farm animal.
Or, you know, one of each. That works too.
