43-year-old Keya Morgan, a former business manager of the late Marvel creator Stan Lee, has been charged with five counts of elder abuse .
A warrant has been issued for Morgan’s arrest.
Stan Lee’s daughter filed a restraining order against Morgan last year.

Her statement details Morgan’s abuse and manipulation of Lee throughout is employment, including preventing the Marvel creator from seeing family and friends and taking control of business affairs without permission .
This isn’t the first time Morgan has been accused of similar acts.

In early 2018, a document signed by Stan Lee named Morgan as one of three men involved in taking advantage of Lee’s daughter in order to “gain control over my assets, property and money.”
It was a complicated issue.

Despite his signature being on the document, Lee, through two videos sent to The Hollywood Reporter , claimed the document was “totally incorrect, inaccurate, misleading, and insulting.”
“My relationship with my daughter has never been better and my friend, Keya Morgan and I, also have a great relationship.”

Lee continued, “They’re two of my best friends, loyalest friends. I don’t know why somebody… would want to cook up problems where no problems really exist. That’s really all I can say about it.”
To further complicate matters, Tom Lallas, the lawyer involved in drafting the original document, also spoke up.

In a statement to People , Lallas said, “I read the Declaration to Mr. Lee word for word, line by line, sentence by sentence, from beginning to end.”
“After each paragraph, I asked Mr. Lee if the paragraph I had just read was accurate, or if he wanted any changes to be made,” Lallas continued.

“Except for one paragraph, in each case, when I asked Mr. Lee these two questions after reading a paragraph, he told me that the paragraph I read to him was accurate, and no changes were necessary.”
The current charges against Morgan include theft, embezzlement, fraud against an elder, and false imprisonment of an elder.

Files indicate that the majority of the abuse took place in June of last year .
95-year-old Lee passed away in November , and was mourned by millions of Marvel fans across the globe.
Morgan’s attorney has stated that he is not guilty.

Attorney Alex Kessel released a statement via email stating that Morgan “has never abused or taken advantage of Mr. Lee in any way.”
“We expect him to be exonerated of all charges.”
This news comes on the heals of the “Avengers: Endgame” release.

Lee’s cameos are still appearing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe despite his death, even as recent as the last Avengers film, which is on track to becoming the highest grossing feature film of all time .
News has yet to emerge regarding Morgan’s arrest.
