Movie lovers will find the road rage theme and adrenaline-pumping aura carried off in the long-time action movie franchise, Mad Max . Presently its prequel, Furiosa, is in the works, and one of Hollywood’s finest stars experienced a first on the set of the upcoming movie. Prior to joining the cast of the survivor-style adventure flick, Anya Taylor-Joy had no driving knowledge, as she basically learned on the job.

It is safe to say that mastery of the craft is part of what makes one a great actor, and Anya Taylor-Joy is on that path. Despite being unable to properly navigate a car through the highway, the actress has single-handedly pulled off a fierce “juicy lift 180.” In an Instagram clip she once shared displaying her skills from the Mad Max franchise, Taylor-Joy perfectly rotated a car while making it skid to a stop at the perfect arc.

How Did Her First Driving Experience Go?
Despite parking the car like a pro, Taylor-Joy did not have any prior driving knowledge. She revealed on the show that her first driving experience had in fact been for stunt training for Furiosa. The actress described it as something “really crazy and slightly upsetting.” She went on telling Norton that she did not own a driving license, and neither did she know how to parallel-park. The 26-year-old added:

Earlier in the year, Taylor-Joy completed the principal photography of Furiosa which is a prequel to Mad Max. On her social media page, the TV star announced thanking all involved in the success. The story will revolve around the events that took place leading to the main theme of Mad Max. The 2015 installation, Fury Road raked in critical acclaim and has been considered one the best movies of the last decade.
Some Details Of The Unreleased Movie
Back in 2020, the movie-making crew of director George Miller announced the Mad Max prequel which was originally set to be in the cinemas in the summer of 2023. However, a later date was announced, pushing it back to May 2024. Furiosa comes as a prequel story of a titular character who was first introduced in Mad Max: Fury Road .
At the time star actress Charlize Theron brought the role to life, but for the new movie, Taylor-Joy will play a younger version of Furiosa. his prequel comes nine years after Fury Road debuted.
