Just kidding, you can stay. But just know that I’m about to shove the greatness that is Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews down your throats. Let’s do this.

First: Know that a queen is never late.

Do you know how many Meg Cabot books I read as a teenager? There were plenty in the series to make more movies but nooooo .
Don’t worry, though. There’s good news!
Although there had been rumors of a third movie in the works for some time now, it’s finally been pretty much confirmed!
Anne appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” and spilled some real tea.
A fan had asked about the third movie, and Anne came through. “There is a script. I want to do it, Julie wants to do it, Debra Martin Chase our producer wants to do it. We all really want it to happen,” she explained .
She did warn that they don’t want to do it unless it’s perfect.
“It’s as important to us as it is to you and we don’t want to deliver anything until it’s ready. But we’re working on it,” she said.
So no, there’s no release date or even a filming schedule that we know of.
But you can bet that I’m going to cling on to Anne’s “we’re working on it,” for the next year.
There are so many potential plot lines for the third movie, I don’t even know what to expect.
All I know is that I’m really excited to see Anne and Julie back together again!
