It seems that no matter what you do when you’re a celebrity parent, there’ll be someone out there waiting to criticize you. For Amy Duggar, it turns out that even the number of children she plans on having can be something her followers feel is up for debate as a recent Instagram post she shared details.
The Duggars are a family pretty famous for having a lot of kids.
Sometimes that fame can lead to some heavy expectations on family members, which is exactly what Amy Duggar, niece of Jim Bob Duggar, has gone through on her Instagram page.
Amy has one child, a son who just turned one this month, and for some fans, that’s not enough.
Amy recently shared a DM she had gotten from a fan on her Instagram.
“I think your body is fine to have more. I like you to have a fun life but don’t be selfish with your life,” part of the message read .
Amy responded by writing, “Whew! Ok..I’m just going to leave this here… I tried so hard not to post this . But . I literally had to speak my mind!”
“I think what really got to me was the fact that this total stranger apparently knows my body so well!”
“First off I’m flabbergasted that someone would have the audacity to type these words to anyone!! I mean. Who in their right mind says ‘I think your body is ready to pop out more kids’ to a total stranger?!” Amy wondered.

“My body has been through a lot and it gave me the sweetest boy ever. Yes of course it was worth it. But I still need to heal,” Amy explained.
“Children are such a blessing, but I can’t imagine being pregnant again right now. I’d be unmotivated, emotional, stressed out and not in a good head space and that’s ok to admit,” she wrote.
