It’s a big night for fans of good television and amazing actors — it’s the Emmys, of course! And if you’re a fan of good TV and amazing actors, you’re without a doubt a fan of Gillian Anderson. Best known for her work on The X-Files , Gillian is now sweeping the award show season like she did over two decades ago for her role in Netflix series, The Crown .
It’s time for TV’s legend Gillian Anderson to raise a glass, or three!
And while we’re at it, Gillian should pour a glass, or three, for me, because I’m the one writing about this amazing accomplishment, and that counts for something !
In the ’90s, Gillian Anderson was kind of the queen of television.
Her prestigious list of credits includes her role of FBI Special Agent Dana Scully in the critically acclaimed series The X-Files .
In 1994, the actress won the Emmy for her role and now, 24 years later, Gillian is back on top!
Accepting the Best Supporting Actress award at the 2021 Emmys for her role as Margaret Thatcher in Netflix’s *The Crown*, it’s clear Gillian has come full circle in her career.
How is it that she looks even better than she did back then?!
Fans are overjoyed for the 52-year-old, who is proving the best roles for women in Hollywood don’t have to end when they turn 40.
Way to go, Gillian!
