Lexington, Kentucky may not be the highest city on your travel list, but that might change now.
Why, you ask? There’s a liquor store that looks like a giant cocktail, and yes, it deserves an Instagram photo-op.

Move over pink wall and angel wings, because Imperial Liquors in Lexington, KY is going to be the next greatest Instagrammable photo opportunity.
The margarita-shaped building used to actually be a pharmacy that was in the shape of a mortar and pestle.
Naturally, it makes for the perfect margarita, fitted with a salty rim and cherry garnish or stir stick.
The margarita muralist Bonie Bolen also painted ice cubes and lemon and lime wedges around the whole parameter of the building, even giving the effect of a “clear” glass by painting the top sky blue.
Standing at 30-feet high, 35 with the cherry, this is probably the biggest margarita that exists in the world.
When you visit, make sure you head inside to get all the necessary ingredients to make your own tasty marg!
This is definitely a landmark everyone who loves margs needs to see!
Looks like Lexington is up next on the travel bucket list.
