A delivery driver has gone viral for leaving a customer’s food in a tree (!!) after getting a small tip.

More and more delivery drivers have gone viral for their being upset with small tips.
There was a Doordash driver who returned a customer’s food to the restaurant over a tip dispute.
In the viral video, the woman can be seen approaching the door and speaking to the customer over a doorbell camera.
“I don’t think you realize the distance of where your food is coming from because then you would have never actually given what you gave,” she says.
She claimed that she drove 40 minutes to get his food, despite the restaurant only being 15-20 minutes from his house.
“I think you need to adjust your tip to make it right,” the woman said.
Since the man didn’t want to do that (he believed that eight dollars was a good tip) she decided to take the food back to the restaurant.
Another delivery driver went viral for leaving a note for a customer who didn’t tip on their DoorDash delivery.
His unconventional way of getting people to cough up was shared on TikTok .
The note that he read with the customer’s food said: “If you can’t afford to tip then you should go pick it up yourself. Who do you think you are to order food and have someone come and bring it to your door for FREE? FOR FREE?”
“I just drove my personal car to your house to deliver your food for fun? Naw not today… you can right your wrongs below.”
He included his Venmo handle for the customer. You don’t want to piss off these delivery drivers!
This next story of an irate delivery driver is quite bananas.
TikTok user Aaron, who goes by the username @i.aaron , uploaded the viral video. It showed a message exchange between him and the delivery driver for his breakfast from Chick-fil-A.
“Where did you drop the order off? I can’t find it,” Aaron’s first message read.
“Tree,” the driver responded. Then he got hostile by swearing at Aaron on the messages. When Aaron wrote, “bro, I’m just tryna get my breakfast,” the delivery driver replied back that he only tipped a dollar.
He then got super angry and wrote that he was about to quit the job.
He even criticized Aaron for eating Chick-Fil-A for breakfast, lol. “Go get some [expletive] eggs and bacon and cook some real breakfast.” Aaron was embarrassed to say that he did go to the tree and get his breakfast.
As expected by the poor customer service, he also got a refund from DoorDash.
Aaron’s video went viral, reaching over 776k views. It also sparked a discussion on tipping culture in the comments. Many believe that delivery drivers have become entitled.
“People who say to tip $5 MINIMUM are out of touch with reality,” one wrote.
‘dude RIGHT??? i was a server so i totally get needing to tip, but it was the tip doordash recommended?? im paying $13 for my food why would i tip $5,” Aaron responded.
“I am a server so I overly tip, but he is also one who accepted the order,” another wrote.
Many people were also on the driver’s side. “for $1.50 tip you deserve this and more,” one wrote. “Dasher is my hero,” added another.
