For a while, people believed that Suri Cruise — the daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes — was looking just like dad.
Well, we’ve got our hands on new pics of the thirteen-year-old that prove:

Despite being the child to two of the most famous parents in the world, Suri has stayed out of the spotlight throughout the years.
Here she is as just a baby! So cute, yet unaware of the crazy whirlwind romance — and eventual divorce — her parents would have.
That’s because their romance became front page news when Tom Cruise infamously started jumping up and down on Oprah Winfrey’s couch.
He couldn’t contain his excitement; he was a man in love!
While there, he gushed about Holmes.
“I’m in love. I’m in love and it’s one of those things where you want to be cool, like, ‘Yeah I like her’ … that’s not how I feel,” he said.
“I wanted to meet this person and I met her and she’s extraordinary.”
Katie was clearly so enamored with their relationship as well that she later revealed that she was converting to Scientology.
Later, though, it would become one of the speculated reasons for their controversial divorce, which occurred in 2012.
In a settlement agreement, Holmes got full custody of Suri, with Cruise having generous visitation rights.
All this took place years ago. Now, it’s 2019 and Suri is all grown up!
But first, here she is again, looking so adorable with her mushroom cut.
She was born on April 18, 2006.
She grew up alongside the two children Cruise had adopted with his previous wife, Nicole Kidman: Isabella and Connor.
After Katie’s divorce to Tom, it was reported that it was like Katie “just disappeared” from Isabella and Connor’s life.
Thing is, though, Katie was set on letting Suri have as private a life as possible.
Suri may be around her mom the most, but this photo makes it clear that she inherited dad’s blue eyes!
We wonder if Suri will end up having her front right tooth as the center of her mouth, too. Just like dads!
Let’s remind ourselves what a young Katie Holmes looked like.
Not that she doesn’t still look youthful and amazing, but let’s try and remember what she looked like when she was closer to Suri’s age. Here’s a shot of her she shared of the taping of the first episode of Dawson’s Creek.

She’s totally Katie’s mini-me. Same brown hair, same long legs, same slim physiques, same fashion sense.
Oh yeah, and she’s gorgeous, too!
Modelling may just be in Suri’s future. A source even told Rader Online that agencies are trying hard to work with her.
“Suri’s really excited — she’s very much a little performer,” they said.
Trouble is, mom isn’t sure about her growing up in the industry.
“She was basically a child star herself, and isn’t sure if she wants Suri growing up in the industry,” they said.
Even so, she looks like a natural in the entertainment world.
Katie has done an amazing job at raising her to be grounded and not spoiled.
“Suri is a great kid,” a source told Us Weekly . “She is so sweet and well-mannered … She’s kind and she always shows gratitude.”
“She’s just a good girl who is a joy to be around. She doesn’t come across as spoiled or like a celebrity kid at all.”
When she was a toddler, she appeared in Vanity Fair with her parents.
It was later revealed that she already had a shoe collection worth $150,000.

Mom has even taught her the importance of giving back as she took her to a refugee camp in Greece this past March.
Katie is the global ambassador for Artolution, which is an organization that seeks to facilitate positive social change through art.

While Katie’s marriage to Tom was certainly dramatic, we’re so glad she got Suri out of it.

Regardless of which parent she looks the most like, Suri is growing up before our eyes.
I can’t believe she’s already 13! It feels like just yesterday she was a tiny toddler with a cute little bob. She’s old enough now to have her own social media pages, so maybe we’ll be seeing even more of Suri in the future!
