I think a lot of us have a tendency to fall into a routine . We get used to doing or seeing certain things, and it can be a real shock when that routine is disrupted.
These things almost feel like a shock to our daily routines. They do force us to look at things in a whole new light, after all.

I personally love when things look like other things. It’s always a bit of a fun distraction from the day-to-day grind.
In this case, I’m glad this is a stump that looks like a crocodile, and not an actual crocodile.

Okay, that’s great. Now every time I see a bunch of mushrooms, I’m going to imagine them with googly eyes and big grins. That totally isn’t weird or creepy.
At least they look like they’re having a good time at the family reunion.

I feel like, after a certain point, you have to take some of those stickers off. Not like most of us will have the same car for over 2 decades though, so it won’t really matter if we keep stacking the stickers.

This is a combination I didn’t know we needed. And honestly? I don’t think I’m that into it. The fact that it’s part lollipop, part glowstick is just… strange. In what world would this ever come in handy?

That’s actually pretty neat. I wish more cars would do this. It would be an especially cool, not to mention subtle, way to personalize a vehicle.
Now I’m kind of mad because I want my cupholders to have a map of the factory that made my car.

I guess there are weirder ways to reuse old wood. And at the very least, it makes for a really cool story. Any person who dines at this restaurant can talk about how it was made out of an old bowling lane.

I thought fortune cookies were supposed to give helpful advice, not tell you to… kill people? That seems pretty extreme, especially for something as benign as a fortune cookie. I probably wouldn’t follow this one to a T.
“This useless staircase I found in the wild.”
For whatever reason, someone decided to partially bury this staircase and then cover it in grass. I don’t really know why this would be necessary, but it’s fun to think that this could maybe be a staircase that leads to another dimension.
“There’s a roulette minigame at the Frankfurt Airport baggage claim.”
When you really think about it, the baggage claim belt does look a little similar to a roulette wheel. With the numbers and colors on this one, it completes the look. Just don’t go betting all your money (or luggage) on it.
“My potassium supplement grabbed the water out of the very humid air.”
I almost can’t believe that this is a supplement pill. With all the water droplets on the surface, it looks a bit more like a tiny bug. Thankfully, it isn’t a bug, so putting it in your mouth wouldn’t be too weird.
“Was at Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom and found an actual lizard on a Pascal statue from *Tangled*.”
Considering the fact that Disney World is in Florida, and Florida has plenty of tiny lizards roaming around, this shouldn’t be as strange as it is. Still, it feels like a really unexpected thing to find on a lizard statue.
“Individually wrapped sliced bread.”
I… I don’t even know how to feel about this. It looks like it’s just a single slice of bread, which is kind of useless. You can’t even make a sandwich out of that. Well, you could, but it would be kind of sad.
“The thinner tree was cut years ago and the big one has been holding and feeding it since then.”
I’ll never get over how strange and resilient trees are. You see all sorts of pictures of them growing super strangely online (funny enough, though, I’ve never seen a strange tree like this in real life).

Reddit user cerosin420 writes, “Almost sure this has to do with antibiotics taken as the teeth were still growing. I remember seeing this listed as a secondary effect on something I took for acne.” That’s so weird, but apparently what caused the striping.

I think the coolest thing about these rainbow-colored blades of grass is the fact that they literally make a rainbow. No blue (of course), but the other colors of the rainbow are represented, and in order at that. So cool!

This is such a cool picture. You never really think about how many layers of paint are on a wall (especially one frequently used for graffiti) until you can actually see them. It makes me wonder what the walls in my house would look like.

That’s definitely pretty cool. A coin all the way from 1717 (which was 304 years ago!) is probably pretty hard to come by in this day and age. It almost makes you want to start a coin collection, huh.

This is pretty cool to look at, but I wouldn’t recommend trying to eat it. After all, it’s probably as hot as the surface of the sun, and it’s made out of metal. So if it doesn’t burn your teeth off, it’ll break them for sure.

This is such a cool concept for a jack o’lantern! The Hash Slinging Slasher from that one episode of SpongeBob SquarePants looks so creepy in the dark, and of course, normal in the light. Amazing!

This shot is so cool! I bet that from the side, the manor doesn’t really look like much. But the shadow extending from the back makes it look like it’s still intact! Too bad you couldn’t actually live in that building.
