While some fans are excited for the new chapter, others aren’t so sure about the way the new family is handling things.
Matthew Perry’s tragic death rocked the world back in October 2023.

Just days before his passing, he shared a photo of himself chilling in his infinity pool at his Pacific Palisades home.

The new owner, Anita Verma-Lallian, a real estate developer, couldn’t wait to share her excitement on social media.

“Our agent said she had an amazing ‘off-market’ property that she really wanted us to see,” the owner added.

“We chose to honor the positive aspects of the previous owner’s life, his immense talent, and all the joy he brought to so many people,” she continued.

“The Batman logo in the pool is definitely staying,” she confirmed.

While many people congratulated Anita in the comments, expressing how cool it was to honor Matthew’s memory, there were definitely mixed reactions.
Some fans wrote things like, “Thank you for honoring Matthew’s legacy,” and “Congratulations! I think Matthew would be very happy to know his Batman logo will be staying.”

One comment simply said, “Congrats! Haunted,” while another remarked, “No hate or anything, but did you have to take pics of the EXACT spot he was found?”
Some folks chimed in with their thoughts on how they would handle a similar situation.

A source revealed that Perry called the house “heaven” and felt incredibly happy living there before his untimely death.
