Sometimes life can try and trick our eyes, whether this be by making us think that we have wandered into a video-game or by throwing up optical illusions out of the blue.
So, from people who came across video-game medics in real life to individuals who found glitches in the matrix, here are 20 times real life imitated art and threw us off!

Maybe they thought that right turns were forbidden at all costs, but that left turns would be perfectly fine? Either way, I reckon that this truck’s driver got a lot of stick for this!

I really like this person’s character design! Also, I think it is the wide-eyed, vacant stare into the distance which is really making her look like a video-game character — after the giant green health emblem over her head.

Ah, someone else whose partner can clearly not stay awake for the duration of a single movie. I do not know how some people ever see the end of a film.

Their friend’s face fits far too well into their tattoo! Maybe they should get their friend’s face’s version tattooed on their other arm? Might creep their friend out a bit though…

I think that I have met a fair few people in my time who would still brave this climb to make a complaint! This is actually an art installation at the congress building in Biel-Bienne, curated by Simon Lamunière.

I love how they all managed to capture the hunger in the cat’s eyes from the original painting. For anyone curious, the original painting is actually “Four Hungry Cats by Beryl Cook.”

I have always wondered what Sylvester Stallone would look like if he was made of stone and was having his face chewed off by a small pig-demon. Now I shall wonder no longer!

I can only imagine that this dog is looking for the local healer NPC who was featured earlier, this little pooch clearly needs some potions!

I know that a lot of people like to turn to painting phallic images over potholes in order to get them fixed, but planting a tree is even more extreme!

Maybe this piece of artwork is saying some really deep about how people view waste… Although, I think that someone just had a spare toilet and filled it with flowers.

Either a cat has already “satisfied its natural instinct to play,” or this chameleon plush toy is way ahead of its time. Not even real chameleons can blend in this well, and they’ve got thousands of years of evolution on their side!

As cool as these two signs are together, I am pretty horrified that someone has tried to install an aerial into the head of that donkey on the right! Donkeys should not be used as aerials my guy!

And they only gave you a green one as well? Those are the worst ones! Unless you are talking Sour Skittles in which case the green ones are by far the best flavor.

This looks like a still from a cartoon brought to life! Although, life is not like it is in the cartoons, so I’d go to a hospital for injections if you get bitten by a squirrel.

I know that the white arrow is straight, but my head just cannot grasp the fact that it is! As far as optical illusions go, this is one of the most confusing by a long way!

I don’t see why they should not serve them in the drive-thru either. I think that everyone has considered walking through the drive-thru at some point in their life, but seldom few have dared to dream big enough.

That is truly uncanny! This was always one of my favorite episodesof the Simpsons. Seems as though this kiwi might be bringing love with it though, if it does then you’ll have to break its legs!

The fact that this is not a still from an old GTA game is absolutely insane. One sun enthusiast did also point out:

This dog has some pretty impressive Minecraft skills by the looks of things! Dogs love playing video-games, it’s one of their favorite pastimes. They love playing Fifa in particular, but they just chase the ball around instead of trying to actually score.
