People Think "Woke" Culture Could Be Ruining Comedies
Todd Phillips, who directed both 'Joker' and 'The Hangover' weighed in on it:

"Go try to be funny nowadays with this woke culture. There were articles written about why comedies don’t work anymore."
He continued by saying:

He basically thinks there is little hope for comedies.
