The future of the hero just looked a whole lot brighter.
And no, we're not talking about his death in Infinity War, although that was pretty bad too.
Which meant that the giant cliffhanger at the end of Far From Home would haunt us forever.
Tom Holland's Peter Parker will be working for both companies, which means he can be in Venom and future MCU films.
Kevin Feige made a statement about it, and we seriously could not be happier.
"I am thrilled that Spidey's journey in the MCU will continue, and I and all of us at Marvel Studios are very excited that we get to keep working on it,"
"Spider-Man is a powerful icon and hero whose story crosses all ages and audiences around the globe."
"He also happens to be the only hero with the superpower to cross cinematic universes, so as Sony continues to develop their own Spidey-verse you never know what surprises the future might hold."
"Peter Parker's story took a dramatic turn in 'Far From Home' and I could not be happier we will all be working together as we see where his journey goes," she said.
"This has been a winning partnership for the studios, the franchise and the fans and I'm overjoyed it will continue."
We can only imagine just how happy he is with this news.
We're so proud and happy for him, too.
How exciting is this!
I couldn't be happier that Sony and Marvel have reached a new agreement. What about you? Let us know in the comments!
