When Coco Austin posted a few adorable pics of herself breastfeeding her nearly four-year-old daughter Chanel earlier this week, the internet literally lost it’s collective mind.
“A mothers calling…. I’m so blessed to have this unbelievable experience in this thing called nursing,” she wrote.
“I had a hard time breastfeeding the 1st week of when Chanel was born, I almost gave up but my family told me to hang for another week. They told me I don’t want to miss this special moment you have with your child.. health wise and bond wise.. I hung in there and now almost 4 years later Chanel still wants the boob…”

She continued, “It’s more of a comfort thing now and of course she eats regular but nap time and night time are our time and I’m lucky she hasn’t grown out it yet because when that moment comes I will be so sad..”

While lots of mothers shared their own stories of breastfeeding their children until similar ages, lot’s of h8ters left other, more negative comments.
“She is too big I think it’s time to take her off now,” wrote one user.
“I don’t believe that’s ok at this time.. it’s time to stop,” wrote another.
“On the breast still at 4?….i mean shes going to school soon. You must detach my dear.”
Thankfully, lot’s of fans defended Coco, saying it’s totally normal and natural to breastfeed older children.
“This is AMAZING! People in the US tend to get their panties in a wad over extended breastfeeding. The reality is the US is one of the few places it’s NOT the norm. So many benefits in mama milk. Way to go,” wrote one fan.
Now, hubby Ice-T is responding to the heavy backlash his wife has faced for still nursing their three-year-old daughter.
Speaking with TMZ , Ice-T made it clear his daughter isn’t being sustained just on breast milk.
“They make it like the baby only breastfeeds,” he replied.
“Every once in a while, when she wants to get close to her mom, that’s what they can do.”
In conclusion? “She eats food. She eats [expletive] cheeseburgers.”

While others still don’t think what Coco is doing is right.
