Farrah Abraham Apologizes After Calling 9/11 '7-Eleven' On Instagram

Yeah, so that happened.

Farrah Abraham took her daughter, Sophia, to the 9/11 memorial in New York City.

While there, the two chose to vlog the experience. Farrah referred to 9/11 as "7-Eleven," and, well, the internet was not thrilled.

So, turns out that Farrah has a YouTube channel.

The former Teen Mom star has a little over 145,000 subscribers.

The channel is a mix of everything, from mukbangs (aka binge eating food) to music videos.

She also vlogs a lot, especially when she's on trips.

Recently, she decided to take Sophia to New York.

They chose to visit the Freedom Tower in the city, which serves as a 9/11 memorial for all the lives lost that day.

So, what I'm really trying to say here is that it is a deeply serious, sacred place for many Americans.

Farrah began the vlog with the "7-Eleven" comment.

I mean, I wish I could say things happen before that, but it's right there at the very beginning.

Also, please keep in mind when reading this that Sophia is fully sneezing through the entire thing.

"Okay, so we wanted to do — since it's gonna be September 11th, in honor of the Freedom Towers, and the observatory deck and everything of 7 eleven, we are going to do this."

"Wow, look at this, guys."

"So, we — I think this is gorgeous, beautiful, and in memory of a lot of loved ones that a lot of others lost.

I remember being in 5th grade when [the] September 11th attacks happened, Sophia was not born yet, so I think it's really important that Sophia learns about it, and here we go."

She posted the video to YouTube and Instagram.

Her post on Instagram has been deleted, but the YouTube video remains up.

The comments did not spare her feelings. People were angered by how disrespectful they found the video to be.

So, here's the thing...

That video had to be shot, edited, and then uploaded to at least two social media platforms.

How did she not notice that she called 9/11 "7/11," and how did that make it past her editors?

TMZ caught up with Farrah after the video was posted.

The paparazzi caught her attention by bringing up the video.

"Hey, you know, people were a little bit, like, they were a little upset with you about the whole 9/11 thing, you accidentally called it 7/11."

Farrah immediately apologized.

"Oh my god, no, it actually like crushed me that...you know, I think I don't even know my name sometimes, I had a blonde moment, I think my heart was in the right space."

Please prepare yourself for what she said next.

"Sophia definitely enjoyed 9/11. It was the first time I got to go. I think me with no makeup, super tired, I—September went to like another thing. So, much love—"

The camera guy interrupted her.

"September, seven..."

Farrah kept talking. "I like, had a horrible issue, but I'm very sorry about that. But we loved it, it meant so much to us." She turned to Sophia. "How did you love it?"

Sophia then addressed TMZ.

"It was super tall."

Farrah continued, "The lady Liberty view, I mean that's gorgeous. New York City, we loved it. Fashion Week was amazing, so.

Hopefully Sophia gets her own star on the walk of fame someday, that's why we're here today."

Girl, what?

TMZ kept asking questions.

"Can I ask you, though, some people are still a bit put off that you were...they viewed it as you were using the 9/11 thing in a promotional way, and there's even a link on your Instagram that goes to—"

Farrah cut him off, and now I'll never know what the link was to, because it's been replaced by a link to her mukbang video.

Farrah said it was just part of being a vlogger.

"Well, you know, we definitely show things on our vlogs, like we're making a vlog today of our journey. Like, this is our daily life, and it was part of our life, very much so."

The camera guy said it wasn't intentional.

"That was very much an accident. And I think we're all human. I'm human! What a shock, oh my God, I'm human!"

Here's hoping Farrah gets better editors in the future then, huh?
