Dylan Farrow Shuts Down Scarlett Johansson For Defending Woody Allen

Scarlett Johansson has been in hot water these past 24 hours after her interview with the The Hollywood Reporter came out, in which she vehemently defended Hollywood director and alleged child molester, Woody Allen.

“I love Woody,” Johansson said. “I believe him, and I would work with him anytime.”

"I see Woody whenever I can, and I have had a lot of conversations with him about it. I have been very direct with him, and he's very direct with me."

She concluded, "He maintains his innocence, and I believe him."

Naturally, this unpopular opinion did not go over well with the public.

Since the #MeToo movement, Hollywood has distanced themselves from Allen as much as possible.

Now, Dylan Farrow is speaking out against Johansson's defence of Allen.

The #MeToo movement allowed for Dylan Farrow's sexual abuse allegations against her father to be re-examined.

Farrow has been a prominent advocate for survivors of sexual abuse, and had no issue confronting Johansson's comments head-on.

"Scarlett has a long way to go in understanding the issue she claims to champion," Farrow wrote.

This morning, Farrow had to clear up rumors about Allen's "exoneration" after Johansson's comments were discussed on daytime talk show, "The View."

Johansson has yet to comment on the backlash.
