Scarlett Johansson has been in hot water these past 24 hours after her interview with the The Hollywood Reporter came out, in which she vehemently defended Hollywood director and alleged child molester, Woody Allen.
"I see Woody whenever I can, and I have had a lot of conversations with him about it. I have been very direct with him, and he's very direct with me."
Naturally, this unpopular opinion did not go over well with the public.
Since the #MeToo movement, Hollywood has distanced themselves from Allen as much as possible.
The #MeToo movement allowed for Dylan Farrow's sexual abuse allegations against her father to be re-examined.
"Scarlett has a long way to go in understanding the issue she claims to champion," Farrow wrote.
Johansson has yet to comment on the backlash.
