Hospital Dresses Up Newborn 'Munchkins' As 'Wizard Of Oz' Characters

The Wizard Of Oz has been capturing viewers' imaginations for 80 years now if you can believe it. The popularity of the classic movie is still evident as people around the world marked the movie's 80th anniversary with cute and creative ideas.

It's been 80 years since Dorothy, the Tin Man, The Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion headed down the yellow brick road in the iconic movie.

To celebrate the movie's milestone anniversary, one hospital decided to dress up four newborns in adorable crochet outfits inspired by the main characters.

Pittsburgh's West Penn Hospital, part of the Allegheny Health Network, shared the photos to their Instagram account and they quickly went viral.

People couldn't help but resist liking these adorable photos. I mean, look at Dorothy's outfit complete with ruby red slippers — too cute!

Personally, I was always partial to Toto, but out of these newborns, I'd say it's impossible to choose. They're all so cute in their yellow brick bassinets.

The hospital shared the photos to bring a smile to people's faces in the spirit of the classic movie.

"Our hope for our patients is that the dreams that they dare to dream really do come true," they said in their Instagram caption.
