Woman Divides Millions After Using A Tampon To Find Out If Her BF Was Cheating

Cheating is an ugly reality of the dating world. Sooner or later, it happens to everyone and all you can hope for is that when it does — that the collateral damage is minimal.

Recently, a 23-year-old college student discovered a tampon/mascara hidden under her boyfriend's dresser. In an effort to get to the bottom of things, she devised an ingenious way to discover whether or not he'd actually cheated on her.

Lois Saunders is a 23-year-old TikTok user, living in England's Essex County.

Recently, Lois went over to her boyfriend Fin's house. The two of them were hanging out upstairs when all of a sudden Lois caught a glimpse of something peculiar underneath his dresser.

In order to further investigate, Lois got down on all fours and shone the light from her phone in order to get a better look.

What she discovered under the dresser, aside from a large collection of dust bunnies, was a tube of mascara as well as a tampon still in its package.

Right away, Lois knew that neither of these two items belonged to her.

So she did what any right-minded woman in her stead would've done — she began to question whether or not Fin was being faithful or if he was seeing someone on the side.

Not surprisingly, Fin adamantly denied that he was cheating.

He also claimed to have no idea who the tampon/makeup belonged to or how the items found their way into his room and under his dresser. Still feeling unsure, Lois decided to take matters into her own hands.

The first thing she did was write down the code embossed on the side of the tampon.

Then, she tracked down the contact information for Proctor & Gamble — the parent company of Tampax. "Can this tell me when it was manufactured?" Lois asked in her e-mail. "I found it in my boyfriends[sic] draw[sic] so I am doing some investigation."

Lois reasoned if the tampon had been manufactured after they'd started dating, that it was proof Fin had cheated.

Much to her surprise, Tampax wrote her back. Using the code provided, the rep was able to confirm that the tampon had been manufactured on December 11th, 2019.

Being that Fin and Lois didn't begin their relationship until the summer of 2021, she reasoned that he couldn't possibly have cheated.

The question, however, still remained. If Fin hadn't cheated, who did the tampon belong to; how did it get under his wardrobe in the first place?

In a separate TikTok video, Lois explained that Fin was renting a student home while he was away at school.

Before he moved in, there were several girls living in the same house. Therefore, Fin reasoned, the makeup and tampon must've belonged to a former resident.

It might seem a little too convenient, but consider the state of Fin's floor in the first video for a moment.

To put it lightly, it was absolutely disgusting. Clearly, it had been months and possibly even years since someone had properly cleaned and swept that room. It's also very possible that the dresser either came with the house or was left behind by the previous tenant.

Eventually, Lois decided to take Fin at his word and believe him.

Her followers, on the other hand, weren't so sure. "If he has no sister and it's not yours and you were dating him prior to Dec 2019 then yeah homeboy is guilty," TikTok user @marsobsessed wrote.

Others couldn't help but label Lois' behavior as erratic, going as far as to call her a "red flag."

Another TikTok user who goes by the handle @aldobee said, "Finn if you are reading this mate — RUN."
