Woman Discovers Creepy Stains And Drawings During 110-Year-Old House Reno

When people move in to a new house, it's not unusual for them to discover that the previous owners left some weird stuff behind.

And considering that some of these bizarre finds aren't discovered until a major renovation, it's often not even clear which previous owner we're talking about.

In any case, most of the time, these discoveries are either the leftovers that slipped their minds or some cute messages to the future that they intended to leave behind as little Easter eggs.

But sometimes, it's hard to tell what the previous owners were thinking and even harder to tell what kind of ominous goings-on used to happen under that roof.

And if the walls in one woman's new house could talk, they'd definitely have some explaining to do.

Shortly after the house we see here was listed in Salt Lake City, Utah, a woman who goes by Haus of the Rising Sun on TikTok bought it.

It was apparently built in 1911 and while she said it had some "incredible bones" and "unique features," it was in dire need of some renovations.

But just two days into that big job, she would discover how unique this place really is.

In a video released on October 21, the woman revealed what happened when she started pulling up the carpet.

And the more she could see what was underneath it, the more questions she had because it turned out they had been stained with what she described as "an alarming amount of blood."

This led the woman to contact the Salt Lake City police, who seemed to agree that the stains were indeed made by blood.

However, we can see here that it was impossible to tell what exactly that blood came from without testing it and that wasn't something they were rushing to do.

As Ladbible reported, the woman said, "They don't do those types of testing unless they have strong suspicion of foul play."

With that in mind, the officer we see here said she'd have to look through cases from this area before her department would decide on whether it was worth it to test the blood's origins.

And so, the woman is now in the process of doing that herself. But before she started, she discovered another creepy sight in what appears to be the basement.

In a follow-up video, she showed off a series of drawings that almost resemble ancient cave paintings.

We can see two figures overseeing their crops while a skull-faced being looks on from above, but doodles of spear hunters and (for some reason) an elephant defecating were also depicted.

At the time of this writing, this house's many mysteries remain unsolved.
