Eminem Surprises Fans By Serving Spaghetti At New Mom’s Spaghetti Restaurant

At the opening of his new restaurant called "Mom's Spaghetti," rapper Eminem turned up to serve the first few handful of orders at the restaurant's walk-up window.

Fans were shocked and amazed to have their spaghetti orders handed to them by Eminem himself, with some fans even being reduced to tears by the experience.

Eminem's new "Mom's Spaghetti" restaurant opened yesterday in his hometown of Detroit.

The restaurant's name is a reference to the lyrics from Eminem's 2002 smash hit 'Lose Yourself' — in case there was anyone who genuinely didn't know that.

The restaurant serves a variety of spaghetti-based dishes, because obviously it does, with vegan options and even a "sghetti sandwich."

However, what amazed most fans about the restaurant was Eminem's presence behind the counter.

Brendan Linden was one of the first customers who was lucky enough to be served a helping of spaghetti by Eminem — a sentence that is just bizarrely wonderful to write.

"I came here in the hopes of meeting him. I didn't think he was going to be here [...] He shook my hand and I told him what he means to my life and how much his music has impacted me. He told me thank you so much and he gave me some food," Linden told MLive.

Some fans even found the shocking experience a little overwhelming.

Erin Farrer was another of the fans lucky enough to meet the rapper. Speaking again to MLive, Ms Farrer excitedly explained:

"They told us they wanted 10 people. So we went around the corner and Eminem was giving out spaghetti [...] When I went up there, I was crying and he said, 'It's OK, it's just spaghetti.' I told him I had waited my whole life to meet you and he gave me a hug and signed my spaghetti container."

The opening of the restaurant attracted fans from all over.

With queues stretching around the block in anticipation of the restaurant's opening, some fans had even camped out overnight in a bid to be amongst the first through the door when the restaurant opened, according to the Detroit Free Press.

The restaurant is also located underneath a store which sells Eminem merch.

"We are really pleased to announce the arrival of the walk-up restaurant and adjacent upstairs store, called The Trailer, where fans can experience a uniquely-curated environment and obtain merch and other items from Eminem and his new pasta operation," said Eminem's manager Paul Rosenberg in a statement.

If you have a hankering for spaghetti and are in the area, Mom's Spaghetti restaurant can be found in Detroit on Woodward Avenue.
