Fans Believe Kate Middleton Honored Princess Diana With Latest Red Carpet Look

Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is known for having amazing style. She's also known for her philanthropic efforts, being an awesome mom, and THE FUTURE QUEEN OF ENGLAND, but for now, we're talking about her STYLE, sweeties.

Do you know who else was known for a similar array of things? The late Princess Diana.

Now, fans are speculating that the Duchess of Cambridge was honouring Diana with her latest red carpet look.

Kate Middleton is known for always having the perfect outfits.

Since her marriage to Prince William, fans have been dying to see what she will wear to every major event.

It's no wonder the clothes Kate wears always sell out — THE FANS CAN'T GET ENOUGH!

Recently, Kate's red carpet look for the premiere of the latest James Bond film "No Time To Die" had everyone talking.

The glittering Jenny Packham number was every bit dramatic as it was breathtaking and hey, Prince William wasn't looking too shabby himself!

Of course, fans of the Royals know the illustrious family is no stranger to the iconic film franchise.

They're both British institutions, so it makes sense that they support each other, right?

The Royal family and James Bond go together like tea and biscuits!

Back in 2015, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the "Spectre" film premiere together.

Kate's sheer baby blue dress was another fashion highpoint for the Duchess. Hard to believe this was 6 years ago already!

Long before William and Kate walked the red carpet for Daniel Craig's "James Bond" films, HRH Queen Elizabeth also attended a premiere back in the day.

Back in 1967, Sean Connery's You Only Live Twice premiere was attended by the Queen, who greeted the Bond actor and his wife Diane Cilento to much enthusiasm.

And of course, who can forget when England hosted the 2012 Summer Olympics and Queen got in on the fun by starring in a skit for the opening ceremony featuring Daniel Craig as Bond?

I love that her corgis also made an appearance.

Another Royal that had an affinity for the Bond films was Princes Diana.

The People's Princess attended the Leicester Square premiere of For Your Eyes Only in 1981, Octopussy in 1983, A View To Kill in 1985, and The Living Daylights in London 1987.

Now, fans believe Kate was giving a subtle tribute to her late mother-in-law while attending the Bond premiere Tuesday night.

Of course, Kate is no stranger to giving nods to Princess Diana with her wardrobe, and this gown was no exception.

Kate's dress, featuring a stunning sequin work and a cape, had fans remembering a similiar look Diana wore back in 1985.

The dresses shared similarities despite being worn decades apart.

Princess Diana's metallic look featured a similar shine and accented shoulders for a viewing of the franchise's film, "A View to A Kill."

Fans soon took to social media to compare the two looks and point out the similiarites.

Kate is always so thoughtful with her looks, so nothing about this tribute surprises me!

I love this subtle tribute to her late mother-in-law. Diana would surely be so proud!
