Fans Defend Coco Austin For Letting Her 5-Year-Old Daughter Wear Fake Nails

It's no secret being a mom on social media is hard, let alone a public figure! No matter what you do as a parent, someone on the Internet has an opinion on it. Whether it's Emily Ratajkowski getting slammed online for how she holds her newborn, or Jessie James Decker defending her decision to get a post-baby boob job, there'll always be someone who disagrees with any parenting decision.

As fans know, Coco Austin is an actress, model, and internet personality.

On top of her extensive resumé, Coco is also the wife of rapper and actor Ice-T.

The pair, who tied the knot back in 2005, share a daughter, Chanel Nicole, born on November 28, 2015.

Since becoming a mom, Coco has (sadly) dealt with her fair share of mommy-shammers.

As fans may recall, Coco took her daughter to get her ears pierced when she was just four months old.

Many followers were quick to comment on Instagram about how they felt about her decision and spoiler alert — it wasn't positive.

Last month, Coco was slammed for revealing she still breastfeeds Chanel.

While chatting with Us Weekly the blonde bombshell explained: “Chanel still likes my boobs. It’s a big bonding moment for a mother and your child."

As you can imagine, people have had a lot to say about that decision, too.

Now, Coco is getting shamed for letting her daughter wear fake nail tips to school. This time, however, the fans are defending the 42-year-old.

Sharing a picture of Chanel, Coco wrote: "School Picture day!! For the special occasion I let Chanel do mini tips to her nails.. I love doing her hair.. my little doll baby is what I call her...."

"Why she got tips but still breastfeed is she a baby or a young woman?" asked one follower.

"I'm sorry but no to tips and makeup at her age. Let her be an adorable little 5 year old," echoed another.

"She to me is to young for nails shes only 6 let her be a kid just paint her nails n nothing wrong with breastfeeding but damn she a little old for that," agreed a different user.

Now, fans are stepping in to defend Coco's decision.

"Just here to remind everyone it cost $0.00 to mind ya damn business if you don’t agree with someone else’s parenting lifestyle," commented one fan.

"Y’all are so judgmental!" agreed another. "Worry about your own children and lives. This little girl is well taken care of, loved and blessed. Y’all go somewhere with all that negativity."

Coco herself has not commented on the controversy, and honestly, I think it's for the best.

I love how supportive her fans were being in the comments!
