Couple Hangs Clothes Line To Block Neighbor's New Cameras Pointed At Their House

Security cameras are everywhere nowadays. While they can help us keep an eye on our property, there's a fine line between reasonable surveillance and invasion of privacy.

One woman has gone viral with her TikTok videos that break down what happened when her neighbor pointed a bunch of cameras at her property — and her solution for her nosy neighbor.

Megan Reid has a bit of an unreasonable neighbor.

You can see in this video that the neighbor has cameras pointed right at Megan's property.

If that wasn't bad enough, Megan claims that the neighbor is frequently antagonistic and yells at her.

Here's a camera blind.

There's no good reason for that neighbor to be pointing a camera at someone else's property.

Understandably, Megan was upset and wanted a reasonable amount of privacy. But instead of going to the neighbor, she went about things in a more passive-aggressive manner.

It was laundry day, so...

Megan and her partner hung up a bunch of clothes, including large sheets, in such a way that the cameras' views were blocked.

Because there were multiple cameras in multiple locations, Megan had to ensure that the laundry was hung up in different strategic areas.

You'd better believe there was trolling.

Simple bedsheets are one thing, but Megan also hung up shirts that said, "I win", along with one that had a no photography logo on the front.

While the initial action was passive-aggressive, these messages are definitely a shot across the bow.

Yeah, that's not worth a police call.

In another video, Megan once again shows off her handiwork. She added that her neighbor called the police about her laundry (yes, calling the police about laundry). As might be expected, the police laughed at her.

The saga has racked up millions of views on TikTok.

Things seem to have cooled off for now, but Megan has been updating her page with new videos frequently, so it's worth keeping an eye on things to see if there are any more laundry-related shenanigans.

What do you think?

Here's the video that started the whole series, so it's a good jumping-off point.
