First of all, if you're going to try this, make sure you have two things:

  1. Window-safe markers.
  2. A friend with really, really nice handwriting.

Make sure that friend can write BIG letters.

Meet Alyssa.

She's something of a wedding jack-of-all-trades. An avid DIY-er, she got engaged to her now-husband and of course had a million ideas on how to make her day as special as possible.

Before she could get married, she had to have that bachelorette!

And thanks to a clever TikTok trick she saw, she had the perfect idea. Alyssa grabbed some window markers and got to work announcing that her bachlorette was her "last fling before the ring."

She added one incredibly important detail to the window:

Her friggin' VENMO. Is this woman a genius, or what? She created a special Venmo account just for the party, then invited anyone who saw the car to buy her and her friends some drinks.

People LOVED the idea.

The TikTok blew up, with over 7.5-million people viewing, liking, and commenting on it. Everyone thought it was absolutely brilliant, and many event sent in donations!

Others had some brilliant ideas.

I'm not gonna knock a money-making venture here, people. This hack has been proven to be successful. If I see this out in the wild, I will ABSOLUTELY send $5 over to whoever's car it is.

Others said they tried it, too.

I love that we as humans love, well, love. It's such a sweet thing that all of us want to celebrate something so pure and so relatable. There is some good in the world, y'all.

So, what was the final number?

Thanks to the viral TikTok, the money rolled in. Generous TikTok users wound up sending in $3,293.89. Yup, she made over $3000 just from that TikTok!

By the way, they had a totally amazing time.

"I'm so thankful to be surrounded by such beautiful souls. These ladies gave me the bachelorette party of my dreams."

She found her bachelorette photographer through her TikTok, of course!
