Ikea is one of those stores that appeals to everyone. Why is that? It’s mainly because most items there are reasonably priced. The other reason is that a lot of Ikea pieces are customizable.
Therefore you can use them in many different ways. So, I’ve rounded up a few interesting Ikea hacks I think you’re going to appreciate a lot.
1. This Cat Feeding Station
How do you create a peaceful cat feeding station that’s also dog-proof? Well, you can use an Ikea’s KALLAX shelf to make something like this. How cool is that, huh? I love everything about this.
2. This Kid’s Closet
You too can create a fun little kid’s closet like this one. All you have to do is combine the IVAR cabinet with rattan doors on top of an IVAR chest of drawers. Oh, I love that idea.
3. These Built-In MALM Dressers
Who knew that you could use MALM dressers to create this built-in look? I certainly never thought of this idea. We have sloped ceilings in our house too, so I can definitely appreciate this concept.
4. This Storage Trolley
I need to incorporate a storage trolley in my house. It’s so convenient. Don’t you think? This clever person used three KNAGGLIG crates with the front two ribs removed to make this awesome one here. I adore it.
5. This Country-Style Bed
Who says you can’t remake your bed? That’s exactly what this person did here with their Ikea MALM bed. They wanted to create a country-style feel, and I think they totally succeeded. What do you think?

If you’ve always wanted to create a cute space to display all your drinks, this is an idea for you. You can use the Ikea VITTSJO laptop desk and turn it into the coolest bar ever.
7. This MALM Chest Makeover
Why settle for just a boring and plain MALM chest, huh? When you could turn it into the nicest side table for your bedroom? I don’t know how they did it, but I want one, haha.
8. This Work Desk For Two
My fiancé and I work pretty much side by side in our home office right now. I wish I saw this idea earlier because we could have used something like this for our joined workspace.

I’m always so impressed when folks take Ikea furniture and turn it on its head. In this case, quite literally. This long KALLAX shelf became the prettiest storage chest here. They embellished the doors with half dowel rods, and it made such a difference.
