Rob Lowe Celebrates 36 Years Of The Brat Pack With 'St. Elmo's Fire' Anniversary Post

When times are hard, it's easy to long for the past. It might be because of nostalgia, or it might be because everything was significantly better when I was growing up. Yes, maybe I'm slightly biased, but c'mon girl... you know it's true!

Do you know who else knows this is true? '80s heartthrob turned 2021 hottie, Rob Lowe!

There's no denying the 1980s were an incredibly important time in our country's culture.

Not only did it birth the most rockin' pop music, but it also gave us classic films I still enjoy to this day.

So many of these beloved films involved members of the affectionately titled "Brat Pack" — a group of young, up-and-coming actors that changed the course of pop culture forever.

The Brat Pack included Rob Lowe, Emilio Estevez, Anthony Michael Hall, Andrew McCarthy, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald, Demi Moore, and Ally Sheedy.

The Brat Pack starred in countless hit movies, including Pretty In Pink, The Outsiders, and of course, the original film that started it all — St. Elmo’s Fire.

Now, Rob Lowe is celebrating the 36 year anniversary of *St. Elmo's Fire* which means 36 years of the Brat Pack!

"36 years ago this week the world met the Brat Pack! I’m sorry (jk)," he captioned a black and white photo of the film's cast.

"I love that this movie still holds a special place in so many peoples hearts," he added.

"Although it was a long time ago, the movie was made in color. #stelmosfire #bratpack," Rob joked.

I cannot believe it's been that long since St. Elmo's Fire came out! What's your #1 Brat Pack film? Let us know in the comments down below!
