Celeb Couples Who Had Chemistry On Screen And Got Married In Real Life

Unless you met your spouse at work, you probably don't work at the same place.

This same can't be said for celebs. Many meet on set and continue to work together as a married couple.

This makes for some interesting chemistry! And some intense fights.

Here, 10+ couple who were married both on and off the screen.

1. Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard

This beloved Hollywood couple got married in 2013 once same-sex marriage was legal.

They've appeared in a few films together, including When In Rome and Hit and Run where they played boyfriend and girlfriend.

So far, they've only starred in one movie as a married couple, and that was 2017's *CHIPS*, which Dax wrote and directed.

As it turns out, Dax was hesitant to cast his wife in the firm since he said she comes across as "too likable." True!

2. Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos

Two decades after they first met and starred on All My Children together, Kelly joined her husband on the set of Riverdale to play his mistress.

Nothing like some good-ole roleplay to spice up a marriage!

3. Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt

While they're just friends now, Brad once guest-starred on an episode of Friends back when they were married.

This was the Thanksgiving episode where he played a former nerd who despised her character, Rachel.

Their love affair started with a movieMr. & Mrs. Smith to be exact — so it only made sense that they would collaborate again once married.

This was the film, By the Sea, which came out in 2015 before their 2016 divorce.

6. Vincent Kartheiser and Alexis Bledel

The pair met when Bledel guest-starred opposite Vincent's character, Pete, on Mad Men.

They played characters having an affair. In real life, though, they are married with one child. You won't hear much about this, as they keep things private.

7. Emily Blunt and John Krasinski

When The Office star decided to direct A Quiet Place, he had one leading lady in mind: his wife. They starred in both of the films as husband and wife.

John even revealed that one stunt from the second film put his marriage "on the line."

This stunt was when Blunt’s character drives a car in reverse to avoid a speeding bus.

Everything about that scene was real, Krasinski told the ReelBlend podcast.

8. Will Arnett and Amy Poehler

The former married couple was #ComedyGoals when they starred in the 2007 Will Ferrell comedy, Blades of Glory.

In it, they played an ice-dancing sibling duo named Team Van Waldenberg. Awkward! They since divorced in 2016.

9. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman

This former couple first met on the film, Day of Thunder. They went on to get married and star in not one, not two, but three movies together during this time.

Eyes Wide Shut was definitely the most notable.

10. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith

Many fans don't know that the longtime couple actually met on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. That's because Jada auditioned for the show, but didn't get it.

Years later, Will Smith and Jada played Muhammed Ali and his first wife, Sonji Roi, respectively, in the biopic Ali.

Not much could keep these two apart. They were married several times, after all!

Before both their deaths, they had appeared in 11 films together, including the film, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? when they were still married.

The pair met in 1996 when Melissa's love for comedy led Melissa to move to L.A. and join the comedy troupe the Groundlings.

They ended up marrying in 2005. Since then, they have worked in many films and TV shows together.

Basically, wherever Melissa goes, her husband goes!

He directed Tammy and The Boss, and you'll see him make appearances in Gilmore Girls, Spy, Bridesmaids (as her love interest), Identity Thief, and The Heat.
