After months of fans begging for it, Mayim Bialik is finally hosting Jeopardy!. Last week, the sitcom legend took to the podium to host everyone's favorite trivia show and luckily for fans, she's doing a two-week run!
Of course, everyone and their brother have a lot of opinions about who hosts Jeopardy! and it seems Mayim's son is the one we have to thank for her finally stepping up to the plate!

Fans of the trivia show called the talk show host a "snake oil salesman" and were struggling to understand the network's decision.

Fans petitioned to have the star host and he is scheduled to take on the gig next month!
Of course, the 45-year-old knew she had big shoes to fill, and was surely delighted when she saw how much the people absolutely loved her!
At the beginning of Monday’s episode, the actress made sure to give a shoutout to her eldest son for pushing her to do the show!
"He was the one who first suggested I give this a try and I hope I am making him and his little brother, Frederick, proud."
In a sweet twist, fans may not have realized this isn't the first time Mayim has given credit to her son!
"My older son is the one who originally said ‘Did you know they’re looking for Jeopardy! hosts? I saw on the internet that maybe you should find out," she explained.
Well, it seems her son has every reason to be proud because Mayim is absolutely CRUSHING IT!
Social media is filled with praise for the star.
Hey, it's a been a hard 16 months, okay? We need a little joy in our lives and we have MAYIM AND HER SON TO THANK FOR THAT!
"Wow wow wow I am overwhelmed by the positive vibes — THANK YOU!!!" she wrote to fans last week.
