Health Experts Had To Issue A Warning To Parents Over Viral TikTok Cleaning 'Hack'

Cleaning your house from top to bottom can be a very hard task. Many times we put off cleaning because it is so tedious and tiresome.

When people online share hacks and tricks to make it easier, we're always on board to try them out, because truly anything that helps us clean is a win/win all around.

TikTok user @tanyahomeinspo recently shared a video that's gone viral with some secret cleaning tips.

The video features Tanya creating a pretty easy-to-use cleaning product with things that we have already in our own homes.

A cleaning hack and I don't have to go buy new things? I'm sold.

Tanya freezes dish soap in an ice cube tray in the freezer in order to use it on "hard to clean" things.

Tanya pours the liquid soap into the ice cube tray, freezes it, and then gets frozen soap pods to use on some tough areas of the kitchen—like the grates in your oven that can get build up on them.

While the hack is brilliant, some experts are issuing warnings to parents over it.

Some experts have spoken out about the now-viral cleaning hack, saying that they should be careful if they have young children around who may be able to get the ice tray and mistake it for something else.

Australian Facebook group "CPR Kids" say parents need to "supervise" if these are in the house.

The group owners say that the frozen soap cubes look like candies and lollipops, which can become a choking hazard for young children. Additionally, they pointed out that the soap has "chemicals" that can be harmful to children, too.

Keep an eye on those little ones, parents.
