10+ Times Prince Philip Made His Family Smile Over The Years

Her Royal Highness first met the future Prince when she was only a young girl.

Years later, they reconnected and fell in love while attending The Royal Naval College, located in Dartmouth.

Philip and Queen Elizabeth II wed 74 years ago and honeymooned at Broadlands in Hampshire.

You can tell from the look in her eyes that the Queen is perfectly smitten. Philip was certainly quite dapper in his youth.

Clearly, Anne thinks his puffy cheeks are hilarious but Charles doesn't appear to be so sure.

Prince Philip was an award-winning Polo player and had a reputation for being a fierce competitor.

But regardless of the stakes, Philip never took himself (or anything for that matter) too seriously.
