I'll be honest, Khloé Kardashian and Nicki Minaj aren't two names I was expecting to write in the same sentence anytime soon.
Needless to say, I'm just as surprised to be here as you are. Basically, we're in this together.

I love Nicki Minaj to death, but I would not want to be on her bad side. Just ask Miley Cyrus.
Anyway, I'm not aware of bad blood between her and Khloé, but still, I was concerned for the girl.
Nicki mentions Khloé in her collab with 6ix9ine and Murda Beatz, called "FEFE."
In the song, 6ix9ine is announced as the "King of New York, looking for the queen" and Nicki is happy to offer herself up.
He raps about hooking up with a woman, but seemingly having some regrets about it.
"I don't even know like 'Why I did that?'
I don't even know like 'Why I hit that?'"
While holding an adorable Pomeranian, he brags about calling "a Uber with my shooter, with a Ruger, we gon' do ya" and follows up, claiming that other people "say they killin' people, but I really f*****' do it."
Nah, we want to see Nicki's verse, and hear what she had to say about long-suffering Khloé. What kind of savagery did she have in store?
"He-he tryna 69 like Tekashi, call him papi," raps Nicki. "Word to A$AP, keep me Rocky, I'm from New York, so I'm cocky."
Nicki knows her worth, though, and expects the best treatment to keep her interested.
"Say he f*****' with my posse, copped me Chloé like Kardashi'
Keep this p**** in Versace, said I'm pretty like Tinashe."
I mean, she's saying that it's important that no one tries to keep her from her posse, and Khloé's definitely known for her fierce loyalty to her family. Plus, y'know, Chloé clothing can get it.
Because, yeah, Tinashe is stunning, and being listed next to her like that is definitely a compliment.
Come on, people, will we ever be able to enjoy a positive story in the same way that we enjoy messy celeb drama?
...No? We won't? Fine.
We can still take some pleasure in Khloé's response, I'm sure.
Technically, Nicki's line was a double entendre for both the French clothing designer, Chloé, and the Kardashian herself.
But if Nicki Minaj phonetically mentioned my name in song — heck, if she burped my name — I'd be pretty freakin' ecstatic.
To put these tweets into one, big, happy tweet:
"Congrats Khlo, heard the song! We stan queens supporting queens in FEFE!"
Then again, Nicki's fans are just about always going to get the last word.
I'm pretty sure if Nicki built an orphanage, someone would still come through saying that Cardi built one first or better.
In case it's been a minute since you peeped the drama of the hip hop world, here's a quick rundown about the beef between Nicki and Cardi B.
In this case, it was on the song "MotorSport" by Migos, featuring both Nicki and Cardi.
On Cardi's side, she promoted the theory that Nicki went back and re-recorded her verse after hearing how good Cardi's was.
"I’m not saying it in a cocky way," she said on Beats 1 (via US Magazine), "I'm saying it, like, the first thing out of your mouth when somebody asks you about a Nicki Minaj feature is, 'She changed her verse.' Excuse me?"
Cardi congratulated Kodak Black for being released from prison. A Twitter user named @beylovesnicki called out the tweet, saying that it doesn't reflect well on her as a mother.
And Cardi, understandably, took that very personally, feeling like it was inappropriate for Nicki to comment on her parenting.
Cardi was seen leaving the party, with a smug look on her face, a knock on her head, and a missing shoe.
So that's our wrap-up of their drama.
Can I also say that, all drama aside, that album art is adorable?
And, honestly, would listen.
Sometimes you just need a nice, palate-cleansing celebrity interaction to break up the pattern of drama and shade.
