For instance, Ariana pleaded to her fans on Twitter to take the virus seriously.
She included several other follow-up tweets about the virus, where she addressed people’s concerns.
“’well some of us have to work!’ i understand and entirely support your frustration,” she wrote.
“i do not mean to disrespect anyone who doesn’t have the privilege of cancelled work or being able to call out of their work. but, this is a national emergency and a pandemic of global proportion.”
Taylor Swift and her cat even got involved in the fight!
“For Meredith, self quarantining is a way of life. Be like Meredith,” she captioned this very important PSA on Instagram.
And, speaking of animals, Arnold Schwarzenegger posted the most adorable — and stern — warning about social distancing.
He did so with his pet pony and pet donkey , Lulu and Whiskey.
There’s a good reason celebs have been advocating for things like self-quarantining and social distancing.
It’s to protect the general public and also, because celebs are not immune to the virus.

The latest update on the couple was a positive one! Yesterday, they were released from the Australia hospital.
2. Kristofer Hivju
The Game of Thrones alum shared with fans on Monday that he had tested positive for the virus.
He’s currently in self-isolation with his fam.
3. Idris Elba
The Fast & The Furious actor, alongside his wife, Sabrina Dhowre, revealed the scary news to fans on Monday.
However, he said that he wasn’t experiencing any symptoms and told them not to panic.
4. Olga Kurylenko
The Quantum of Solace actress let fans in on her diagnosis on Sunday, March 16.
“Fever and fatigue,” she wrote are her main symptoms.
5. Sophie Grégoire Trudeau
Canadians were shocked when the wife of Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau tested positive for COVID-19.
“She is feeling well, is taking all the recommended precautions and her symptoms remain mild,” a statement from Trudeau’s office read.
6. Rudy Gobert
NBA player Rudy Gobert revealed last week that he had tested positive for the virus.
He apologized for touching the microphones at a press event as a joke.
In his statement, he also wrote that he is “under great care” and plans to recover soon.
