Target Is Selling A 20-Foot Waterslide So You Can 'Slip N' Slide' Into Summer

Some of our best childhood summers were spent sliding belly-first across a seemingly endless slick, plastic mat, not even caring that we could feel every bump, lump, and stone poking up underneath it.

Who needed a trip to the waterpark when someone in the neighborhood had parents who were cool enough to buy them a Slip N' Slide? We could spend hours just taking turns gliding across these chutes, squealing with glee before crash-landing in the hot, wet grass at the end.

As adults, we don't really get the chance to enjoy backyard waterslides anymore, unless we have kids of our own. Even then, those slides are usually only a few feet long. Where's the fun in that?

Target has heard our complaints and now offers a waterslide perfect for children and adults alike.

According to Best Products, the Rave Sports Turbo Chute isn't like those Slip N' Slides you remember from your childhood. For starters, it's 20 feet long. That's 20 feet of slippery, sliding fun for everyone to enjoy.

To be fair, it's not necessarily targeted at us adults but if you think we're going to let the kids have all the fun on this thing, you're wrong.

All it takes is 15 minutes to inflate the chute and then you're ready to enjoy your own mini waterpark.

Of course, you'll have to add some water to it too. I would not recommend trying to slip or slide across a bone-dry chute because that's one experience nobody needs in their life.

The slide retails for $550, which is on the pricier side for sure, but just think about how much use you're going to get out of it!

Set it up on flat grass or unroll it down a hill so you can pick up some serious speed while you slide.

But don't think this slide is strictly limited to land use. You can also inflate it over a body of water so you can skim across the lake and finally know what it feels like to be on the business end of a skipping rock.

The slide is mate of fade, tear, and puncture resistant material with inflatable barriers to keep accidents to a minimum.

You remember those kids who would fire off down the Slip N' Slides of our youth and ultimately end up careening off the side before they ever reached the end, resulting in some serious grass burns. This slide is doing its part to prevent the same fate for its users.

The slide is for children ages 6 and up and it says it can hold up to 250 pounds, although considering the inflatable parts and strictly limited to the barriers and the rest is just a flat mat, I can't really see how weight matters. But, the restrictions are typically there for a reason, so just keep that in mind.

If this 20-foot slide isn't extreme enough for you, why not make the mega slide of your dreams?

You can actually purchase a Turbo Chute Water Slide Lake Package which offers three 20-foot slides that attach together, making for one super long chute to go soaring into the water on! The package also comes with a six-foot starter mat and four Turbo Sleds.

At about $2,000, it's definitely an investment, but if you're using it for the cottage, maybe you can get all the neighboring cottages to pitch in since they'll definitely be coming over every day to use it!
